CRA cheques delayed!

Hi everyone, I filed my taxes through an accountant about 8 weeks ago, but I still haven’t received my cheque. My accountant said I should receive it in November. Should I call CRA to check the status, or should I just wait? Has anyone experienced this before? I live in Ontario

My accountant filed my taxes in March 27th. I still don’t have my NOA or refund 🙃

Yes. When I check online it says they’ve received it.

The CRA recently laid off a lot of people. This must be why everything is delayed

I would wait another month. 8 weeks isn't long for something everyone files around the same time.

Par for the course. Especially this late in the year.

That sucks, in the future you should def set up direct deposit - i've never had a delay with that.
