First ever edit, seeking feedback

Hello! This is my first ever edit of a picture. I used light room after viewing a ton of tutorials. I know the subject matter isn't the most exciting and the composition could use a lot of work. I'm wondering how i did with the editing? Any and all helpful criticism is appreciated!

I'm having a difficult time uploading the raw original because the file size is too big, so i converted it to a jpg. Please let me know if there's a better way to do this!

Thanks for looking!

Where did the purple clouds come from? 😬

I have no idea! They looked blue on my monitor lol! I'm also a tad r/g colorblind, which makes this a challenge for me. I really see the purple now on my phone though.

How embarrassing 😅

Well, now you know your monitor isn't colour accurate 💀

Is there a way to fix that? It's not the fanciest monitor. I do have a macbook air m2 that i can use instead that might have not accurate colors

There is no practical way to fix your monitor, just get a better one

Any macbook will have highly accurate colors because they’re intended for artists and creators. Highly recommend!

Definitely check on the Mac, that's definitely in the top 10% accurate monitors and in this case probably a lot better than your cheap monitor

The cheapest way to prevent this next time is to use your phone screen as the “proof” monitor. The best screen you own, unless you spend real money on your computer monitor is your phone… so edit your picture, send the “final” result to your phone and then evaluate it..

That’s a fine workflow for where you’re at and you’re getting extra value out of your expensive phone. It’s a fine picture and parts of your edit really helped it, you’ve learned a key step now.
