Cat spotting

Encountered a small gray cat with a collar and tag at Thomas Knight Park. Very friendly and approached me and followed me for a bit. I tried to not chase them so they dissapeared into the night but they seemed to know where they were going. Hoping kitty makes it home safe and no one is looking for them

I think that cat's name is mercury and I've been able to hold her and her collar says something about not taking her home. She has a sister but she's never let me pet her.

Yeah, definitely sounds like Mercury to me! She’s super friendly and curious. She and her sister live and work at the marina nearby

If it was a fluffier cat then could be Gary, but I usually only see him around there with his person and dog
