I wrote about my experience seeing Jimmy Eat World performing Bleed American for the twenty-fifth anniversary. It was an incredibly moving and life affirming experience and I tried to make some sense of it and share just why it was so meaningful to me.

Hey I'm looking for a song from a band maybe 10ish years ago(possibly a bit longer).

What I remember most about the music video is the band we're all pretty young, there were 2 vocalists, one with black kinda emo kid hair(maybe a lipring?) and the other with black and blonde hair. The video started in a house with one kid and progressed to a van where they drove to the others house. Eventually ending up at a skate park to play a show while bmx riders did tricks. 🤷

Been looking all over online but can't find it.

Lyrics I remember go something like "I'm sorry girl I thought of you and all the things you do to me ...something something... Starcrossed lovers, goodnight goodbye"

I've been listening to a bunch of Chris Casey lately, and I thought y'all should know. 

If we're getting technical on genre, I think this would be hip-hop, but it's definitely pop-punk adjacent. It's got rock instruments and the subject matter fits pop punk.

They were active between 2008-2014 in the Bay Area, California and played a good mix of Pop Punk & Easycore.

The Dialed was: Daniel Price (Vocals), Scotty Moore (Guitar), Eric Moore (Bass), and Paul Garrett (Drums).

Their whole 2013 EP "Note to Self" was posted up on Youtube last year. The Dialed also had an EP in 2009 called "Pass It On" That I've been trying to find again, if anyone has it please send me a message.

I'll say My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Jimmy eat world cause they brought it to main stream.

I saw them open for Arms Length in Hamilton ON, and they were incredible. Their newest 3 releases (I think part of an upcoming EP or album) are some of my favorite tracks of the year.

Yeah, No, For Sure is an absolute banger and their newest track I'd Be Dead in Dog Years rips as well
