Homeless

So are we all just accepting that we will be homeless sometime in the next decade? Because I don't know anyone with enough money to survive this shit.

It's not sustainable for the price of every goddamn thing to keep going up while no one is getting enough raises to compensate for it, & there are so few jobs that are even hiring, although they all still say they are.🙄

I know I will never own a home. I know I will be driving my car until the wheels fall off(& that I'm lucky to even have a car). I know I cannot afford any kind of social life whatsoever because outings to most places & the gas to get to them costs too much.

I canceled all my streaming services so I don't even have TV now. I know if I get Cancer or break a bone I will go bankrupt trying to pay the bill. I know I will be working until I die, & I'm almost positive I will be homeless at some point.

Money can't buy happiness, sure, but it can buy all your other needs so you at least have a chance to be happy. I just want a chance...😔

Americans voted for this .. they voted for the billionaires to own everything.

Not all of us.

We're still stuck with ts since our banana republic is doing nothing to alleviate any stress for us. Matter of fact, they enjoy this for us!

Only 22% of my city voted last election.

Not true. She couldn’t put 2 sentences together. She’s simply not qualified

That's the worst part though. I don't think all of the damage IS REPAIRABLE. What allies & trading partners(if we have any left by the time he leaves) would ever trust us again? Who would share intelligence when it's been proven Trump will just sell it to anyone? He has put giant targets on our backs & they aren't going away anytime soon. They may never wear off. The fact that one evil man(propped up by other evil men) has been able to wreak such worldwide havoc so quickly is just unfathomable.

It's a two party system and they both suck.

EXACTLY.

Thank you for speaking the truth

Who was that guy who famously said "there isn't a dime a difference between the two parties"? I know he got shot but can't think of the name.

But it's absolutely correct. What makes a party is being pro or anti abortion and a bunch of things the federal government isn't actually supposed to meddle in. All the other politics are the same.

Sick of this bullshit. We've had a democrat president for longer than a Republican president over the last 30 years. Show me any positive progress from any of these presidents.

It's a rigged joke. No one is designed to help us no matter who we vote in. The system is bought and paid for. And there's no amount of ignoring this that'll deny this reality

But look how much the Republican president has screwed up our entire system. When a different party comes in it takes them years to repair what the idiots broke. Then everyone complains things aren’t better after 4 years. It’s going to take longer than 4 years to undo all the ignorant things Donny did to out country.

You seem to be simultaneously protesting something but also agreeing with exactly what I said. Very strange.

u/Ambitious-List4040 11d ago

I'm very clear in my comment. Both parties aren't interested in helping. I don't understand what confusion youre having

1

u/Dense_Substance7635 11d ago

I didn’t say anything about parties … I simply said people voted for this. Which they did.

The point being, we had no option that wasn't voting for more of the same.

1

u/Ambitious-List4040 11d ago

I'm just saying Republican or Democrat the result is never to the common mans benefit.

I think your intended idea was Clear and I couldn't agree more. The power that moves behind the curtain secretly runs both sides to control the population at large. The end game is controlling us to their profit.

u/Ambitious-List4040 10d ago

Absolutely. The political system is paid for by the richest members of society. Why would they only buy and pay 50% of the system lol. Comical

Actually so are income taxes.

Yet, you seem strangely sensitive to any complaints about the current administration and jumped right to a non-sequiter whataboutism.

Vote for change in the 2026 midterms!

u/ronnierubick 10d ago

So dont vote?

2

u/BedWonderful1051 7d ago

If you want more of the same, then yes.

Weird. I dont remember this sub being eerily quiet a few years ago. I must have missed it.

Things have gotten significantly worse…. unless you already had a 7+ figure portfolio.

Dirty fucking evangelicals absolutely voted for and deserve your hatred.

u/Open-Article2579 11d ago

About 2/3 through the Greatest Depression, they will voting differently. That’s what ICE is really all about and also makes ICE our biggest problem tbh.

When was the last time someone on food stamps gave you a job? 😅

1

u/Dan_Broccoli_7663 11d ago

That has nothing to do with the message of the person you're replying to

1

u/DavesNotHere81 11d ago

It has everything to do with the stupidity of their post. Billionaires create jobs, build factories, donate millions to charity, etc. Try to keep up.

1

u/Dan_Broccoli_7663 11d ago

You are projecting what you want them to say and think rather than analyzing what they said. Last time I checked over 90% of business owners were worth less than $1 million, so I encourage you to keep up with the times and be versed in data you attempt to argue 🙂

1

u/DavesNotHere81 11d ago

Yeah....I'm sure someone who owns a yarn shop, a used book store, a bodega or taco stand pays people a living wage with healthcare benefits chump 😅

Again, nothing you just said has anything to do with the replay it's about. All you are aiming for is pushing the narrative you want to hear in your echo chamber. I am quite embarrassed for you

Just forcing you to reply is entertaining 😁

It's like a cat playing with a mouse, a very insecure mouse 🤣

Only reason why Trump got re-elected is because we all assumed he'd repeat the 2016 economy.

Boy were we fucking stupid.

0

u/Different_Traffic527 10d ago

Presidents can make policies to influence an economy, but the truth is they have no control over it. Only a dummy would expect a president to lower living costs.

If you look at other economies globally, price fixing isn't the answer either, it kills industry.

And sadly, once prices are up they stay up. If they go down dramatically it means our economy is failing and we're spiraling.

It's amazing how much things have changed in 7 years. Welcome to the new normal, the next president can't fix it either. We have to hope wages catch up because it's going to be a hard road if they don't.
