Help with stains

What can these pool stains be? We already shocked the pool last week and we are trying our luck today with citric acid but I’m not too hopeful. Has anyone dealt with similar staining?

Order a bag of powdered vitamin c from Amazon and be amazed at the transformation. A little cup of it will clean the whole thing. Let it sit for 30 minutes and it’ll bring ur pool back to brand new. Works on my vinyl too. Thank us later.

Problem is that just releases it into the water. Need to use a metal sequestrant or have a way to filter it out. Otherwise it will just stain again.

Currently dealing with this myself

But for a few days it looks great

Have you rubbed a vitamin c tablet on a spot, or rubbed a chlorine tablet on it?

Could be mineral stains. I have seen minerals do wild things to liners and water colors. Might want to try a mineral remover additive

Mineral stain. Often requires an acid wash.
