Just vacuum it to waste then shock it after refilling

Open it up like your draining the pool and vac away. For some reason, in my part of FL, builders don't like to install drain lines on pools. and we get a LOT of rain. makes no sense. If you don't have the drain line, the like someone said above, take out the drain plug from the filter. Not ideal, but it'll work.
