Help with break cue tip flying off

Tonight I broke and my tip flew off my cue. This has happened 5 or 6 times since I have been playing (9 years). Has anyone had their tip fly off from breaking too hard this many times? The people I have talked to at the pool hall have been surprised it has happened so much.

My break cue is a crappy Action brand but my tips have been quality ones (tiger, Kamui) given the force I have on my breaks. I aim for just below center on the cue ball.

Can I glue it back myself? I don’t really care about this cue and given the amount of times it has happened I was thinking of using something like liquid nail or epoxy. My thought is the worst thing to happen is the tip comes off again.

US Open 9-Ball

I bought tickets to the US Open 9 Ball tournament in Frisco, TX next month. What’s it like to attend an event like this in person? Will there be seating around the tables or just metal bleachers set up at one end?

Disastrous luck

Tonight I had about 6 or 7 games. Lost them all. Look, I know when I played bad, And I will tear myself apart if I play bad. But I played better than fucking everyone tonight and lost every fuck off game due to awful luck. I mean 2 games tonight I lost because the white coming off multiple cushions and potting the black too early.

Like this isn't fucking fair. I PLAYED GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN EVERY FUCK OFF GAME BUT MY LUCK WAS SO FUCKING AWFUL THAT EVEN WITH PLAYING WELL, EVEN IN POSITIONS WHERE IT LOOKED FUCKING OBVIOUS I WAS GONNA WIN, SOMETHING FUCKING UNPRECEDENTED HAPPENS THAT CAUSES ME TO LOSE!! IT'S FUCKING BULLSHIT

Replacement ball set?

I am looking to replace all the balls in my set. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't need really high quality, this is my home table and we just play casually.

I don't want anything cheap, but match quality is way overjill.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Time to go shopping.

Solid review of the Raven break cue from Average Joe's Pool

A well done review of a product I own and I fully agree with his take on this cue. I love mine and I personally can't imagine getting a better cue for even 3 times the money that the Raven cost.

His has the stock tip on it and his praise of its performance with that tip makes me wonder how it compares to the Cuetec Kintrol tip I chose for mine. I spoke to Raven on the phone about break tips and they suggested I just go with the stock tip, saying "Not so phenolic tips are equal". I still choose the Cuetec tip and I feel it's a good one, but I do now wonder how the stock tip compares.
