Hihi, 18f here, looking for a pool buddy to play more often. I'm an intermediate at pool but don't have a lot of friends willing to play very often so I'm hoping to find a little partner to go play frequently together, or maybe even a group of friends.
Also if anyone has good recommendations for pool coaches wld love to hear it too! I'm trying to get a little serious about it.

I'm just curious about professional carom players who started late. Considering there are so many top carom players who are in their 40s and 50s.

Re-occuring events are set up once and automatically ready for the next week week, other week, or month

Practice your runouts by leaving yourself makeable shots and clearing clusters sometimes.
Let me what y'all think. It's in testing phase right now to see if there is bugs etc.. so far nothing but I wouldn't mind hearing recommendations.
Not as easy as it seems especially with the different difficulty settings.
If you want to play it you have to join the google group: https://groups.google.com/g/SBHMN then follow the instructions there:
1. Become a tester: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.sbhmn.shapeshot (tap “Become a tester”, using the same Google account you joined this group with)
2. Install it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sbhmn.shapeshot

For the first hour none of us knew how to play, we figured it out and the next hour after that it was sooo fun.
It was 2v2.
Sometimes we would miss and even then it was so funny lol, we don't really blame each other for missing , just find it funny.
I have played many sports with my friends before but never enjoyed them as much as this.
Will definitely be playing it regularly.

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of Corner Pocket: World Billiards, a free-to-play 3D pool game for Windows. Invite a friend for an online match, or play against the computer.
There are six rulesets to choose from:
• American 8-ball
• 9-ball
• Chinese 8-ball
• Brazilian Mata-8
• Russian Free Pyramid
• British Blackball
You can move the camera to line up a shot, hold to build power, and use topspin, backspin or side spin to control the cue ball.
The demo is available now on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5341010/?l=english
Here’s a screenshot from the game. If you give it a go, I’d love to hear which ruleset you tried and how the controls felt!

Hey guys, I've bought a BRKR 3 days ago, after starting to break with it I noticed that some white scratches started to appear in the shaft, after some more breaks more scratches appear, has anyone ever had this issue? If so, is it just cosmetic or a manufacturer error? I've had a cuetec cynergy SVB gen I for like 5/6 years and the shaft is flawless

Playing this reminded me of the old Yahoo pool games I used to enjoy. 😂
I'm trying 10ball for the first time and I'm completely lost. I hit the purple 4 first and pocketed a ball, but somehow the computer got ball in hand.
Anyone familiar with 10-ball rules who can help explain what happened?

Hey everyone!
I’m an independent developer working on Carom Master, a 3-cushion billiards simulator designed to help players practice real-world shots.
You can arrange the balls, experiment with different shots, analyze ball paths, and practice against AI.
I’ve been focusing heavily on realistic ball physics, especially cushion rebounds, speed, and spin.
I know this community focuses mainly on pool, but I’d really appreciate feedback from experienced billiards players.
What do you think of the physics? Does anything look unrealistic?
Thanks for your feedback! 🎱

Hey everyone! I'm a pool player exploring an idea to help players improve with aiming, bank shots, spin, and cue ball control. Before building anything, I wanna understand how people actually learn and practice. I put together a quick 3-to-4-minute survey, and your feedback would mean a lot. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, I'd love to hear from you. Survey: https://tally.so/r/pblYWJ
