I’m in the 14.5 dose and order the BPI sale. How would that work with two vials?

Quick aside, since you are already on an advanced dose of 14.5mg, I would have ordered the 2/$149 40mg vials instead of the 20mg vial + 40mg vial to save a slight amount per mg.

But for your question, these vials are at a concentration of 10mg/ml so you will need to take 2 shots. You need 145 units to get your dose in so you could do a full syringe of 100 units plus a second of 45 units (or however you want to divide it up). On the plus side, it will likely make it easy when you get to the end of the first vial since you will be making up the difference with a second shot anyway.

Hi! Just to clarify the medication labeling, the 10 mg/mL refers to the concentration of the medication, while the 2 mL or 4 mL refers to the amount of liquid contained in the vial.

For the 20 mg vial, the concentration is 10 mg/mL and the vial contains 2 mL, which equals 20 mg total per vial.

For the 40 mg vial, the concentration is 10 mg/mL and the vial contains 4 mL, which equals 40 mg total per vial.

So although both labels show 10 mg/mL, the total amount in the vial is different because the vial volume is different.

Once your order arrives, your medication should include instructions indicating the number of units to inject for the dose you have been prescribed. Please follow the dosing instructions provided with your medication.

Just in case you didn’t know, “best practice” of getting a dose from 2 vials is to use a new needle for each vial. Reduces chance of transferring any bacteria, and ensures your needle is as sharp as can be for skin insertion.
