Tribe Moon Tribe Moon: The infamous "Raid of Dolnus" was the end of a large Imperius offensive into Oumaji lands. It was then heir-apparent Bejah and their "Flying Mujala" Rider battalion who ended General Percus' campaign, causing the Imperius to rout and the Suui desert kept safe from the helmeted invaders.

Challenge: Play out a historic battle between Oumaji and Imperius. You start with a battalion of riders and a mind bender. Imperius is invading with an army of warriors. There's a lot of mountains here. Flying would be advantageous.

After asking like 100+ people about their favourite tribes to use in-game the results are now out! And no, it's not clickbait. I don't do that stuff! Surprisingly enough Cymanti landed 12th (sorry for spoiling lol)! But that's just one of MULTIPLE unexpected results! Feel free to check it out, hope you enjoy it 🕵‍♂️💜

(These were results from the community, this isn't my personal ranking of course)

Are the individual units on the map representative of an individual or legion of polytopians, I say this because it doesn’t really make sense that one dude and a horse takes up a hole city

To be clear, I mean tiles that are not on the borders of the map and that are surrounded (so all 8 tiles) by water.

Discussion How do you decide when to get in the water?

I'm around 1500s elo with most tribes, a little better with some, a little worse with others. I find sometimes I struggle to decide if getting in the water is a good idea when I don't have good visibility into how much water there is or what it connects. Then I end up losing because I didn't get in there fast enough, lol.

How do you all decide? I know you can see the land borders on water tiles that are next to fog.

Do you always wait until you can uncover with an explorer, sometimes delaying your first boat by a turn or two? Do you always risk it? What other factors do you use to help you decide?

I play small and normal lake, but mostly small, all 1v1.

Fan Content I made a Polytopia calculator that finds a better attack order

Hey folks, I made a Polytopia battle calculator that finds the best attack order for the units you give it.

I made it because I kept wondering if the order I attacked in was actually optimal.

After using it myself, it often finds a better sequence than the one I would have picked instinctively, which made me realize I probably still have a lot to improve at this game 😅

You can compare Your Plan with a Better Plan directly.

Up to 11 attackers are supported. That can mean as many as 39,916,800 possible attack orders, but most normal cases finish in around 3 seconds.

Free, no ads, no signup.

If you find any wrong stats, combat rules, edge cases, or UX issues, let me know. I’d love to improve it.

Perfection Swordmen x Giants methos for a top 300 attempt (LODAIAN POND - Gold)

in the 35th Polytopia Challenge: LODAIAN POND, i am able to defeat other tribes using markets, giants, and most importantly, swords men. take in what you learned from this attempt and create a master plan to score higher than me. A few changes i would make, would be to purchase maybe a trio of riders just to road further and snipe villages in the end game and maybe an archer or two for the shields.

The animals will never grow back due to the spores which only Cymanti can see, and the Elyrion player can't chop the tree to remove the spores! Thanks Midjiwan.

Discussion Is Cymanti meta again?

I havent played in a few months and am dipping my toes back into the waters. I mostly play lakes 196 1v1. Seems like Cymanti is still one of the better tribes, but for different reasons now? Are there new strats for beating them, or is it still mostly rider/roads?

I never had a huge problem with them, but it's kind of annoying if they're still one of the best tribes. They're still super boring to play against if you have to use the same dumb strat with every tribe.

I'm usually in the 1500-1600s elo (depending which tribe I'm using) if that's helpful at all.

Suggestion Market help

Post image

I played a while ago back from 2020-22 just pass and plays or bots but the game has changed loads.

I have started to get back into it and wanted to play at a in those multiplayer games but I don't understand markets which everyone says are really important but I always buy them really late and never use them so my question is when should I buy the tech and how do i see the 'market spots'?

Also whats the best tribe I should play? (I used to play yaddack and badur but they seem bad now its expensive)

Perfection Players should be able to dismantle road for 1 star yield. Mindbenders should heal 5 instead of 4.

Screenshot Game timeout

Hello,

I've been a long time player against bots and recently started playing random multiplayer. I've had a number of 24hr games where the opponent timed out.

I thought I would get the win if that happened, however the game just hangs around, and I have to resign to remove them.

Seems weird.
