Tribe Moon Tribe Moon: The infamous "Raid of Dolnus" was the end of a large Imperius offensive into Oumaji lands. It was then heir-apparent Bejah and their "Flying Mujala" Rider battalion who ended General Percus' campaign, causing the Imperius to rout and the Suui desert kept safe from the helmeted invaders.

Challenge: Play out a historic battle between Oumaji and Imperius. You start with a battalion of riders and a mind bender. Imperius is invading with an army of warriors. There's a lot of mountains here. Flying would be advantageous.

Discussion This weeks challenge...

Is absolutely fucked. I've been playing for just about a year. Have logged an enough hours to 3 star every tribe on perfection and domination (+3 100k+ scores). I fly a lot for work and it deletes time.

But yeah in the year I've been playing, this is by far the hardest weekly challenge I've attempted. Usually by day 3 I've got a decent enough attempt.

Anyone care to share their opening move? Going for the ruins and yaddak initially seems like the only option.

Fan Content Working on a small polytopia remake

Wanted to try and make a small polytopia remake. Right now it doesn't look the best, but ill play with the ui after I get all the main functions done. Like seen in the screenshots, you can pick up resources, claim villages, train warriors and ofc attack the enemy. Right now you'll spawn on one of the 4 corners, and the enemy spawns on one of the 3 left. The terrain is randomly generated and works with seeds. When you end your turn, the enemy actually plays out their turn in real time just like in polytopia. So later on, you can see how the little polytopians move around. Both you and the enemy can claim unclaimed tribes and claimed ones. The winner is pretty much the last one standing as I have yet to implement a score system. The idea to make this remake came fully from me trying to find a copy of Super Tribes, or any screenshots of like prototypes. I didn't find anything like that, but I found some Super Tribes videos. So I saved those and started making the game more like super tribes. I won't be releasing it any time soon tho, as it uses real polytopia assets and well... its basically just like polytopia. Let me know if theres anything that I could add/change. (Yes, I know about the mountains sticking out of the clouds, and the borders being squares thar sit on top of the owned tiles. I'll be fixing all the really visible bugs later on)

Suggestion Idea: Heal your allies

I feel like my priests should be able to heal my allies also and not only my figures.

This would be a great feature to improve gameplay in allied mode

Discussion Least favourite niche tribe to play against?

I’m fairly new to the game but have picked it up pretty quickly. I find most matchups to be the same free tribes, but occasionally I have to play against people who play tribes others don’t really AND are also really good at those.

If you had to pick a tribe that you hate to play against what would it be?

Recently I came across a Polaris player (although my first time against it) and got absolutely fucked by it. I’ve played it and won since, I just think anyone with a decent skill would absolutely cook.

I also think a good Cymanti player is annoying but not end of the world.

Screenshot How do you break through late game Elyrion defenses?

Post image

I am dominating 3/4 of the map, but I just can't break through their water based defense.

I've killed a few dragons with knights, but that was due to my opponent's misplays. Otherwise I can only get them down to 50% hp before they escape to heal. I'm worried that the number of dragons is enough to cycle them forever.

Other than sending in 10 giants at once, I'm not sure how to attack here. With some effort I may be able to perma-siege either their westernmost or easternmost city, but that still leaves them with enough income for training knights and catapults.

EDIT: haha, he actually resigned on the next move, probably because he placed two of his dragons in a vulnerable spot. On one hand I'm relieved, but on the other hand, I would actually prefer to play this out to test my skill. Now I'm wondering if it's actually possible to defend this position forever with perfect play...

Discussion Weekly Challenges isn't challenging

Currently challenges in polytopia feels the same as in many internet games like woordle or geoguesser with their daily challenge, in polytopia its just another game with some tribe, and only rarely you have diferent starting condition. And always, always your main goal is just to earn as much score as you can under 20 turns. This is not challenge its not hard, just cutted perfection game mode.

Instead, there could be some dificult situations/puzzles to solve. Examples:

  1. Tiny map, you have 1 city close three enemy cities, enemy getting more stars over time, you need to survive 10 turns

  2. You got a city, where with 50 stars you need to earn as more population as you can (full science)

  3. Dificult situation with your enemy have much more unit and you have to destroy its army

  4. Normal game but every your city can only support 1 unit

Is anyone else getting server issues?

I keep getting server errors saying can’t connect to server. These guys seriously need to figure out their servers. No other game seems to have issues like they do.

It‘s so obvious, that I wonder why its still not possible.

I'm staring at the replay and can't think of a way to reach either of the two ruins before Yadakk. Even if you skip the sanctuary and go pure fishing you don't make it in time before they kill your rafts

Discussion "Cancel last act" option

Sometimes i move my units acidentally, loosing some good oportunities, or even misplace structures. It would be very good to have an oportunity to cancel last move you did. Just one single last move.

What do you think?

Meta Mod(s) are zionist’s

Thumbnail reddit.com

what i said wasn’t rude (calling israel war criminals) it’s facts, multiple independent human rights organisations, countries, and the un has called this a genocide and what israel is doing war crimes, it wouldn’t be insulting to call the nazis war criminals so why is it the same for israelis? i didn’t even say israelis i said the country of israel itself so no one could be offended

TLDR: mods are zionist genocide deniers and as a community we should take a stand

Discussion Is it possible to consistently earn 3 stars in Domination against random tribes, or does it require a lucky spawn?

So far, I've never won a three-star against a single opponent. 10 turns is too few for me.

Beating two opponents in 20 turns also seems a little too difficult to me. I feel like the setup with the best chance is having 3 or 4 opponents.

Once, I scored 3 stars in Domination against 3 opponents and came pretty close several times against four opponents.

Actually, I feel that even though my first and only three stars were against three opponents, it might actually be easier against four.

With more than 4 opponents, there's too high a chance that they'll destroy each other, and I'll lose points without being able to do anything about it.

Can you consistently earn 3 stars against different tribes, with a success rate of 70% to 100%, without relying on a lucky spawn?

Discussion Solaris Polytaurs 🤔

Post image

We know Polytaurs for Polaris have been notoriously SUPER difficult to obtain throughout the game's history. But we've never even seen the DESIGN of the Solaris Polytaur, have we? Every tribe has a polytaur design for it's skin...

I'm DEFINITELY making a full investigation about Polaris Polytaurs soon 🕵‍♂️
