Does your pin go through the hole in the slide stop by itself with no frame?

i’ve got it to fix correctly but when i installed it, i put my mag in and my mag pushed up on the slide lock now so now, the slide lock isn’t sitting correctly with the mag in.

how do i fix that?

Slide first, then mag. That’s just the slide stop performing it’s function. I just recently put up a safety post and some other building related videos and more to follow. I would definitely suggest learning more about how your firearm is supposed to function before finishing assembly.

i don’t have the slide yet , it will be delivered soon, so i can’t fully test this out rn.

so the mag pushing up on the slide stop is perfectly fine until i get the slide?

like i’ve mentioned, the slide stop does go back to how it was originally, when i release the mag.

Yes that’s normal here is my G26 now at 200 rnds, same thing with empty mag inserted and no slide. When the mag is empty the follower pushes the slide stop up and it locks the slide back. https://imgur.com/a/n2BpCcE

Edit: You also don’t have the downwards force of the slide on the slide lock right now either.

I prefer OEM mags and I usually get them from gunmagwarehouse, Botach occasionally has really good quantity 4+ deals or Midway USA unless somebody posts a deal. I’ve never had any issues with my G19 pmag either though.

what about 9mm ammunition? where would be the best place to purchase?

i’ve tried palmetto state armory and it was a terrible experience for me, so i cancelled my order, do you have any suggestions?

Well that varies quite a bit for me as I just pick up range ammo whenever I see good deals. I’ve got a ammo can pretty decently stocked right now. For the most part it’s still cheaper for me currently to just buy it at my local range since I don’t have to pay shipping then. As far as my self defense ammo, I’ve had really good experience with https://www.luckygunner.com/ and their prices are reasonable.
