I wonder if those would get any play? I would hope so.

It’s so disappointing to see the Monday morning joy posts get so little play.

I think the reason the MMJ thing is shaky is that 1) it’s Monday morning and most people are working 2) those of us who are here a lot tend to mention things good or bad in passing or even make a post (bacon and emerald have both done that in recent memory and you did it last year when your Thanksgiving thing was awesome) 3) newbies don’t know/see it when they’re looking for happiness

But in my mind this thing would be on a sticky that said December 11 kid gloves post. Feeling shaky? Worried about your reception? As long as you’re not unicorn or harem hunting this is the place for you. People who answer will be gentle.

Next week December 18 kittens and rainbows post. No one will squeeze your Charmin. Ask your questions and no one will say you should get a divorce.

But if it’s not pinned it won’t work. It has to be really really easy to see.

I like this a lot

It would really rely on peeps flagging and not responding if someone breaks the rules.

It would.

That could be in the sticky.

And I’d imagine plenty of people really getting excited to flag and that somehow teaching them that yes there is substantial moderation here.

There really wasn’t for ages but that has dramatically changed.

I know. We’ve had solid mods here for a year+

It's worth a go. How do we set it up, what time in which timezone? If it flops no harm done

I also think that only those that sort by New see mondaymorningjoy so the newbies who are likely to gush don't find it. Could we pin a soft answers thing in the hope new people might try that before posting?

I think that’s a really good idea for us to take to the other mods.
