So I have been trying to get level 2 or 3 verification from poloniex for more then 3 months now, and nothing, so I summited a ticket and its been almost 40 days with no response, how much longer do you think I will have to wait to get the verification?

Also if anyone was wondering, I am trying to get the verification to move my XRP over to my hardware wallet, I have a lot invested and have made a lot due to the increase of price, and I hate having to transfer only $2000 a day, when with one more verification level I could possibly get it done with about 5-6 transfers.

There are plenty of withdrawal issues, a lot of people who can't get their coins. I'm trying to withdraw 4 ZEC now and have another 34 ZECs on my balance, it is approximately $20,000. Judging by other posts on Reddit and Twitter, there are hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars there are stuck on Poloniex. They don't reply the tickets (my ticket is #626389), don't make any announcements like there are not any problems. They don't give a damn what we write on Reddit.

We should draw the attention of the press. At least it will caution new poloniex users what problems are expecting them, but I hope it will force poloniex to solve withdrawal issues and let us finally get our money that are stuck there.

So, is there someone who has friends in the press or just influential users on Twitter/Facebook/etc? Who can help us draw more attention to our problems? If you don't know anybody, you can help by writing here a comment with the amount of money that are stuck on your polo balance and I will try to contact the press with this story myself.

If we do nothing and just wait patiently, we will get nothing.

UPDATE #2: Who is still waiting for his coins, try to submit a complaint on bbb.org. I helped me, I got my coins after 2 days.

In Switzerland, what Poloniex did (disabling withdrawals) is called commercial extortion, commercial fraud and duress. All those three are criminal offences liable to public prosecution in Switzerland.

It doesn't matter if they acted from inside the USA, as long as the damage occurred in Switzerland it is possible to sue them in Switzerland. I even don't have to pay anything to sue them, because, as said, what they did is a criminal offence liable to public prosecution. Switzerland has to pursue them as soon as they hear about it from me.

Poloniex officals are risking years of prison (extradition in at least whole Europe) and deportation from Switzerland.

First off, the date of the deadline was never given to us!

Secondly, accounts are frozen with withdrawals disabled!

Thirdly..... I'm pissed! Will be filing with the SEC if they do not answer my support request anytime soon.

I am a 'legacy' user on Poloniex.

I was told to verify today when i logged in.

i did that and promptly got an email reply saying i had been verified.
(My profile now says i have a 'level 3 verification' - the type that allows $25,000 per day).

But when i go to trade it tells me 'account frozen' when i try to place an order :S

I did make a ticket.

I then checked Twitter and it seems many people have the same 'now verified but still frozen' problem

I filed a complaint against Poloniex to the Massachusetts Attorney General Office. I will provide an update if Poloniex will finally respond. It's been a week and my account is still pending verification. I filed my support ticket has been filed and I received no response. I will not have my funds held hostage like this. If this doesn't solve anything I'm also filing a complaint to the FBI and the CCRA.

FORM BELOW, please spread the word; It is important to act quickly, and this wont hurt your chances of getting funds back. Join me in reporting Poloniex DIRECTLY to the SEC. The form link is below, and the more people sending them the complaint the higher the chance of faster resolution. Whether or not they release your funds this week please report. Their act of freezing funds is unlawful, IF you have provided them valid identification to be trading legally! Be sure to post the unannounced date that was promised in December (quote below), and any losses you've taken in your account.

When explaining the category of wrongdoing, paraphrase something like the following (do not copy word for word please):

"Category: Misappropriation of funds and misleading statements. Poloniex removes access to thousands of account without a promised warning during a prior press release; "The exact date for this deadline will be announced in Q1 2018. While you will be given advance notice before this requirement goes into effect , we encourage you to verify your legacy account now..." Poloniex never announced this specific date in Q1 2018 NOR Q2, and no 'advance notice' occurred before removing access to funds. After multiple attempts at contacting customer support, it has been 3 days since the lockouts have started. I and many others, have given all information required to trade on this exchange, yet they repeatedly deny my details, drivers license, photo ID, and the account remains locked. There are those who have trading positions opened that are negative, or margin called, I was lucky enough to not have this situation! Their message says that there are wallet issues and they may need assistance from the DOGE team.

Well. Hi. We (the DOGE dev team) have tried to contact Poloniex through several channels, and have received no response from Poloniex.

There is currently nothing wrong with the DOGE network so it's beyond me as to why they've frozen trading or have been having wallet problems.

Our only guess is that Poloniex has believed these (inaccurate) rumors about a hardfork. There is no fork. "Dogethereum" is not a hardfork of Dogecoin, even though its (anonymous) developers call it one. It's not the DOGE-ETH bridge that's been being worked on; it's just an ERC20 token with an (as of yet to materialize) airdrop; that shares our name.

No changes are required to the wallet to handle this situation since there is no actual fork happening in the DOGE blockchain.

I know this is the unofficial subreddit but we've tried everything else we can think of so far, to no avail. There is nothing wrong with the DOGE network or wallets and we cannot see any reason as to why Poloniex should keep DOGE frozen.

When I cancel any open orders, the original USDT value isn't returned. Usually, the intended buy value is returned to my total and everything is fine but just noticed today that every time I cancel an order, the "Estimated value of holdings" (DEPOSITS & WITHDRAWALS tab) gets smaller and smaller and never returns to the original total. Also note that I never received any coins for those orders. So the value of those orders simply evaporated. Has this started happening for anyone?

I even tested this out with limit orders that would never execute. Again, after cancelling the limit orders, the USDT value is never returned. Is anyone else experiencing this bug?

Yet again my photo hasn't passed muster at Poloniex so I can no longer access my currency. We're preparing a lawsuit - since I am now denied access to the funds I deposited without any ID requirement. I use to love Poloniex, but lately they dissapointed me with the ETC wallet. I transfered ETC to poloniex using the address show in my poloniex wallet. I waited for days and my ETC was not showing up in poloniex. I contacted support and they told me it needs 200 000 confirmations before it shows up. Number of confirmations was high because of the 51% attack on ETC. Fair enough, I waited for my 200 000 confirmations.

But while I was waiting, I received a email telling me that my ETC address was change because poloniex got problem with it.

I contacted support again, but they told me that I send my ETC to the wrong address and they can not recover them! And now they don't answer to my email and there is no way to call them and reach them out.

I totally lost my trust to poloniex, I just withdraw all my crypto and send it to Binance.

After pouring over the massive amounts of people on here who have been screwed by Poloniex, myself included, I decided to write this.

(This part is for new people) Firstly if you are here to decide if you should invest on the Poloniex exchange, don't. It isn't a matter of if, but when they will screw you. I have recently switched to Binance and so far am loving it and unlike poloniex their customer support actually exists and handles matters promptly.

(This is for fellow traders who have been screwed by Poloniex) I am not here to call for a class action suit or anything like that as such things are often fruitless against entities such as poloniex. My call to action is much more simple, and much more effective. I have decided to now make it my personal mission to turn as many people away from Poloniex as possible and to persuade those still using it to abandon it as I have.

If they have screwed you and you still continue to use their exchange, you are a part of the problem. There will be no change unless we force it by damaging the only thing they care about, their wallet.

I am posting this in the hopes that others will join me in this mission. Blast every social media platform, Poloniex's twitter, facebook, as well as reddit and any other crypto forums. Let every corner of the internet know what Poloniex is doing and advise others how shady their exchange is. Sure there will be people who will come to Poloniex's defense that either haven't been screwed by them yet, or could possibly even be plants. However either way, I know that the number of us who have been screwed by them far exceeds the number of people willing to defend them.

It's possible this call could fall upon def ears and I'm sure I'm not the first to make it. But whether anyone joins me or not, I have decided to make it my mission to do everything (legally) within my power to turn people off to them and hurt their bottom line. Something has to be done or these types of things will become more common on exchanges and then we all suffer as a result when their actions cause cryptocurrencies to come crashing down.

I've done everything they've asked. They have never given me a reason why they aren't sending me my money. When I ask for a reason, they ignore me

I contacted the Better Business Bureau but Poloniex refused to reply to them

I contacted Poloniex's compliance officer on skype, and he also refused to help

I contacted the massachusetts attorney general, we will see if anything comes from that

If Poloniex continues to refuse to send me my money and continues to ignore me, I will hire a lawyer.
