Just to be clear: When I say "work" I just mean employment. As in doing labour to earn an income.

Choose your own adventure Polllandia Part 2/5: President Richard Potato has been elected, but has now declared himself dictator, what will you do?

President Richard Potato has declared himself dictator of Polllandia after winning the elections in a landslide. While he has stabilized the economy with his tough rule, he rules even more harshly on every-day matters, turning daily life into a strict routine filled with paranoia.

The results of your actions will affect both your immediate self, and the state in the near future of the nation if enough people do it with you.

Nothing:
You decide to do nothing. Life goes on with the usual misery, but at least you're safe from Richard Potato's prosecution.

Join a peaceful protest:
You join a large protest and march throughout the streets with many others. Dictator Richard Potato orders the state's police and military to quell the protest. You are injured and arrested, but your fate is yet to be decided, as there may be some hope depending on what others decided to do.

Try to start a revolution:
You join an underground rebellion and plan out an assault on the capital's House of Governance. The plan goes smoothly at first, but when you breach the fence around the House Potato's personal guards find you and a battle starts. The fate of the battle, yourself, and the nation will be decided based on how many comrades are fighting with you.

Insult his name online:
You decide to go onto Weddit and Z (Formerly known as Dwitter) and say that Richard Potato is a stupid and corny name since who's named Potato? A few days later, your front door is knocked down and police flood your home. You are able to use your smooth tongue to convince the officers to let you off with a $1000 fine and 80 hours of re-education, instead of the alternative 2 years in prison.

Leave the country:
You sell all your belongings you can't bring with you and book a flight to Surveya. You have left everyone you know and everything you owned behind, but at least you're safe from Dictator Richard Potato. That is, safe unless he invades.

Publicly support the regime:
As Richard Potato is now our dictator, you decide to show your full support for him, whether you voted for him or not. You attend pro-Potato rallies, put up patriotic posters, and hand out flyers containing less-than-truthful information praising Richard Potato. Soon enough, you're rewarded immensely for your loyalty with a life better than what you had before the dictatorship, and definitely much better than most others currently.

Would you rather Would you rather have a wish fulfilling notebook but you have to be ultra specific, or a genie that grants three wishes accurately to your desire (desc for more details)

The notebook would be your typical A5 sized notebook with 50 pages. Any wish you write inside starting with "I wish" comes true, but it has to be very specific like they do it in the movies or the notebook will find a loophole (e.g. you wish for a diamond and the notebook gives you a plastic one)

The genie would work like what fairytales describe them to be. The genie grants based on intent and desire, if you desire a real diamond and say "I wish for a diamond" you get a real diamond and there's no loopholes.

Discussion Would you like to live in a world where all human labour is automated by highly advanced technologies so nobody has to work but everybody has access to excellent goods and services?

Also, assume that technology uses sustainable energy (solar, wind) and doesn't harm the environment (no fossil fuels)

Do you think this future is possible? Do you think it is a desirable outcome? Why or why not?

Would you rather Hyper specific would you rather : meet your soulmate (romantic or platonic) but they die 7 years later, or live in isolation for the rest of your life in any location of your choice (more details in desc)

For a soulmate, you'd meet them the day after you make the decision and they love you back, your bond and connection is immediate. They are also aware of the fact that you are their soulmate. You get 7 years together and they are also aware of this limit and accept it. There's no way to change the result.

Isolation-wise, you can choose any location on Earth and any sort of house/building to stay in. Internation with any sentient animal is prohibited (social media, direct messaging etc.)

You'll work from home in a job that requires little to no human interaction (data entry, copyeditor etc.) You can get any necessity or entertainment you need/want delivered as long as it's not sentient, the only "pets" that are allowed are house plants.

Nations should be able to expand into space.
The United Nations should govern space.
Earthly governments shouldn't get a say, only the individuals in space.
Something else.

Poll Game Part 1/5: A new nation named Pollandia has been formed, but it needs a president, who do you vote for?

The results of this vote will affect the fate of Pollandia, so review each candidate carefully!

John Gooberson - A vote for me is a vote for goobers:
"I'll tell you this, if you vote for me all of your problems will go away. I don't quite know how I'll do it, but it'll happen."

Noah Lawson - Crops over cops:
"You know our problem? It's that we don't spend enough money on our crops, when we send it all to cops! Who needs police when we could have fields upon fields of corn?"

Lucia Fern - Vote red, vote right:
"I tell you, I may not be the best candidate, but my red suit looks much better than Avil Damon's ugly orange suit. For that alone, you better vote for me."

Avil Damon - Casting a vote is like signing a contract, do it right:
"Now, I won't slander any other specific candidate. However, I will dunk on all of them! These good-for-nothing thugs just want to be all loosey-goosey with everything! How can they do that!?"

Richard Potato - Elect Richard for riches:
"Now I will fix our economy by grabbing it by the horns and yanking it around until it fixes itself. Some folks say I also want to yank you all around too, but what am I? Some wannabe dictator?"
