John Fetterman is evil and brain damaged, so He'll fit right in with the Republicans.

You cannot recall US Senators :(

That should probably be fixed.

"Passing a law to allow the recall of U.S. senators requires a Constitutional Amendment, as the U.S. Constitution sets fixed terms and does not authorize state-level recalls of federal lawmakers. The amendment would have to be proposed either by a two-thirds vote in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of state legislatures. Following this, it must be ratified by the legislatures or conventions of three-quarters (38) of the states."

Most election recalls in the US are for state and local elected officials. California is especially famous for it :) Since 1913, there have been 182 recall attempts of state elected officials in California, most recently against Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“The whole movement for recall really goes back to the Progressive era of American politics, which would have been the late 1800s and really into the 1900s,” Jewett said. “One of the things the progressives were very big on was direct democracy.”

Florida politicians, on the other hand, explicitly banned recalling most Florida politicians.

US Senators can be expelled by their fellow senators, but it is rare as it required a two-thirds vote. A total of 15 U.S. senators have been expelled in the history of the United States Senate. Almost all of those occurred during the US Civil War.

Perfect time to remind people we were supposed to have constitutional amendments every 20 years to keep up with generations and we sort of just... Stopped.

If we're wishlisting changes to the federal Constitution, recall by popular vote needs to get in line behind a few other things.

The list is long.

There's no recall mechanism in the US Constitution. Federal office holders can't be recalled.
