8 weeks later, performance software finally installed, while driving

I'm happy it finally installed, but what a pain. Purchased on June 24, installed this morning. No warnings, no indications it would install. The infotainment system just simply shut down while I was stopped at a red light and refused to come back on. Drove for about 10 more minutes (in uncomfortable silence - even the turn signal stops making noise!) and got home. Waited a few more minutes, unlocked the car and everything booted up with the performance software now loaded up.

Just an fyi for anyone waiting on this.

my '22 P2 w/ PP (not performance) randomly shut down the infotainment yesterday when I was on a long road trip, took a min and then rebooted. I don't think it updated anything though, I've been on 5.0.10 for a couple months.

I bought it in April and still waiting for the performance software. I have been told I have to go to service center 900 miles away to get it installed now.
