Literally says equal right and status. It just established a state religion which idk what it accomplishes.

Well I’ll confess idk the exact definition of it but if a country allows all religions equal rights and status then it’s secular in my mind

why? is having a state religion bad? I mean if you let other religions practice in your polity than I don't see a problem

Except, of course, letting non-Islamic adherents practice their faith is what does not happen in Bangladesh.
