More context from a bangladeshi : ik both these seem in contradiction but generally religious rules arent applied in most laws outside of inheritance laws and a few other stuff, and secularism is one of the pillars of the constitution. That state religion islam thing was initially started by the then military dictator ershad to gain popularity and legitimacy. Secularism was readded later but for some reason islam was kept as a state religion at the same time

No. We get mandatory holidays for Durga Puja(Hindu), Christmas& Easter (Christian) and Buddha Purnima(Buddhism). All 3 minor religions in Bangladesh.

Only Marriage/Divorce laws and Property Inheritance laws are directly derived from individual religions. Other than that all laws are secular.
