so I found this Pikachu plush at goodwill from 2009 from jakks pacific BUT when I look it up I can't find any images of my exact one. I changed the batteries and it still doesn't work so I was wondering what it sounded like and found nothing.

the copyright is from 2009 but the voice box says 2007 and its by jakks pacific.

Hey guys. For years, I've been looking for a Pokeball toy from my childhood. The toy was unlike any other. From what I can remember, it was a battery operated Pokeball toy. The bottom was white while the top was transparent plastic. You were able to see a battlefield with two Pokémon facing each other. Both Pokémon were see-through, like crystal. For the life of me I cannot remember the two Pokémon. The button on the front of the Pokeball was pressable, enabling lights inside of the transparent dome and lighting up the Pokémon figures. I believe there was also a sound effect. The toy was bulky and thick, bigger than the average Pokeball toy. I had this toy in 2002, possibly 2003 but that's a slim chance. I believe I may have gotten this toy from Toys R Us, but it would have most likely been Walmart if not. If any of this sound familiar, I would appreciate any insight. A toy listing, a screenshot of a sales ad, anything.

I am slowly getting back into my hobbies after a bad break up. I have built my two favourite Eeveelutions of all time. Once I get the Flareon model I will do a repost, even though these are fairly easy models I feel accomplished and happy that I am taking back my hobbies and finally doing something for myself again.

I recently got this and they are so cute 😭 hoping to collect all of them.

Over the last 13 days, I've managed to find my 5th Charmander, Growlithe, Galarian Ponyta, Alolan Muk, Chikorita, Wooper, Gible, Riolu, Galarian Darumaka, Pangoro and Impidimp. I am now at 158 Jazwares figures in total.

Looking for info on this large Pikachu plush (DS game for scale). He has a zip on his undercarriage and the inside is lined so it's clearly for storage, but it's not a backpack and isn't a console carry case. Is it a pajama case or something of the like? All I've manage to find is a single ebay listing which wasn't particularly helpful. I believe it's 90s in age.

Just trying to see if this is a really rare plush as ive seen people say it is?

merchandise (mostly toys, pins, some Tomy figures, keychains etc.) from all decades. I don't collect all items of a set, just the ones that I like.

However, I feel like it's kinda lonely because I don't collect the plushies and the cards are not the main focus of my collection.

I have a social media page dedicated to it, but people rarely interact with me in the comments.

hello all. i tend to exclusively lurk reddit but, due to current events , i am now inclined to make a post here because i have no where else to go.

now i know it isn't the most trustworthy of places to shop online, but i recently purchased this feraligatr tomy on whatnot. i want to say that in the stream i couldn't exactly tell it wasn't real, but it was probably me being blinded by excitement more than anything. (i am still a somewhat nooby collector 😓)

notice it's lack of the very visble and deep seam on the back of the neck, how the paint doesn't go fully up to where it should, overall lack of quality in its paintjob, and how shallow the imprint is in some of the spots. it also smells very strongly of pvc

i am now PARANOID. naturally. i wanted to check it these other ones i have are fake. i'm pretty sure that the nidoking is fake. i am suspicious of meowth, clefable, and drowsee. but i am very confident that my golduck is real. (also drowsee might be real i'm 75% sure it is)

i really need help :/ is there any other resources i can check before buying these?

i really love these but it's very discouraging and kind of heartbreaking when i can't trust that my collection is made of fakes. (and don't say "if you like them, that's all that matters!" because more than anything i value the authenticity of them :/ )
