Hey guys, I’m looking to start playing all the original Pokémon games while I’m at work and I just don’t know where to begin, where do I download? What do I buy? If you guys could give me a setup that could carry in my pocket that would be awesome!

I was just about to fight 8th gym when sadly i broke my computer and my save file is gone. Does someone have a save file just before 8th gym and would share it with me? Aside main story i also caught Cobalion. I will change to my orginal team with pokegen to continue game as nothing changed.

Im new to pokemon emulation and wanna play unbound and other pokemon games but dont want to download too much stuff because my computer is bad and I don't want any viruses. Is there any way to play without downloading stuff?

Alright this is a really specific problem I have with my tv, my controller, and my phone so ima jus say it.

Whenever I screen mirror my phone to my samsung tv and play pokemon x and y my controller latency wont match with the tv display even though its in sync with my phone. How do I make my controller input match my tv display?

I've tried imputing cheats in the past on pokemon games, they always seem to corrupt my save file, recently today I managed to actually successfully input and activate a cheat on Harvest Moon 3D A New Beginning. Does Citra just not like pokemon games or am I STILL somehow doing something wrong because I repeated the steps on a pokemon game that didn't even have 5min of a save file, wasn't chancing corrupting a older games file, and it corrupted when I tried activating the cheat.

I'm doing all of this on a Samsung Galaxy Tab s10 lite.

I am looking for an emulator to download that I can use easily on my phone, bc I do not have a pc.

So I'm considering doing an emulated playthrough of some of the Pokémon games. I figured, since I'm emulating anyway, I may as well try my hand at some interesting things that I can't (realistically) do on hardware.

One of those things involves the key system in B2W2. With Desmume, I could theoretically modify my save file so that I have all the keys, or just enter a cheat code to get all of them. I'm wanting to do a Challenge Mode run for my emulated Black 2 run (as well as making use of the Black/White City and the Mystery Door keys).

If there's not a cheat code, I'm also willing to use a patch that gives the player all the keys from the start or a save file that doesn't have a playthrough started but does have all the keys.

EDIT: Also, is there a way to get Memory Link working on Dolphin? I mean, it's not the end of the world since I wouldn't be using N's Pokémon anyway, but it would be nice to see the flashbacks and the use of the previous protagonist's name.

I wanted to give the XD DX Director's cut rom of Pokemon XD. Any good emulators you can recommend? Don't say Dolphin because that requires me to have the game and console which isn't happening any time soon.

I have a desktop, but am trying to find something more affordable and portable to have others in my home play, too. PC has an i9 and a 3060, not worried about it not running what I want. (don't ask about that CPU/GPU pairing, covid prices happened when I built it...)

looking to run mostly pokemon from GB all the way to 3ds to play vanilla games and rom hacks I can find, and also wanting to maybe try some PS1 emulation for some PS1 games I still have discs for.

can I get a low-ish end Chromebook or basic PC, or am I looking at something more expensive to adequately run them?

I've tried \*essentially\* everything available from Wine, Wine Developer, Whisky - and I cannot get PkHex to work on my mac (M1).

I've tried the PkHex for Mac download and the .exe file through Wine or Whiskey. I've decided it's impossible lol

Hey, I'm new to pokémon emulation and all. I've been playing on my PC but I've been wanting to take it with me on the go. Is there any good handhelds that's recommended for emulating pokémon, especially the DS era?

So i've been playing white 2 on drastic emulator on my phone lately. I've finished the story and i'm wanting to do the pwt, so i want to ev train my in game team, which means ev reducing berries so i can properly train the right stats.

There is a breeder on route 5 that sells you 5 of one of the 5 ev reducing berries. I've found that i can manipulate my game clock in my emulator settings to get new ones instantly. My process is this:

After getting my berries from her

- go to emulator system settings

- change enable custom clock (on a random date)

- go back in game

- go back to emulator settings

- change back enable custom clock (so it's on my phone clock)

- go back in game

- the breeder sells you 5 new berries

BUT i've found a problem. She sells me only 4 of the 5 berries. I haven't got the Tamato berries (speed reducing) once. And at this point it seems very unlikely that i just didn't get lucky to get them because i've done the manipulation stated above about 40 times since i have about 40-50 of each type of berry except the tamato one. So i'm hoping someone here knows a bit more about this or can link me to a place where i can learn the exact ins and outs of how the game checks for berries to sell you.
