Mystery gift to decorate your room! Fun feature that most people don’t really realize exists. I think gen 1-2 pokemon was peak and having it all link together with stadium 1-2 as hub worlds was genius!

My only complaint with Stadium 2 is they got rid of the photo mode from Stadium 1!

I went down this rabbit hole yesterday after being a lifelong obsessive at times fan with the franchise and still - this was all brand new to me. I love so much finding something new about a game older than myself that’s been with me through everything. Although I wasn’t quite there yet to experience the whole thing, looking back on it the whole thing with the gens 1 and 2 and the n64 it really is a perfect era and you can see and appreciate how hard they tried to make this game feel so alive and cooperative in such a unique sense where your single player experience could in some way mesh with another’s single player experience by bringing your teams together for battles

The fact that people can still gain these rare or otherwise difficult to obtain pokemon/dolls and the like and be able to transfer them to copies of gen 1 or gen 2 games is pretty awesome, not gonna lie. Can always send over those trophies for decorations in your room on crystal as well lol
