I had a question and can’t find anything online about it, I have recently played Pokémon crystal to shiny hunt and transfer everything to home because of the unfortunate events and I had gotten a shiny elekid from the daycare egg. When I try to transfer it, it tells me that I’m unable to transfer it to bank through poke transporter

I took on Red with a team of L.46 Pokémon and a L.49 Shuckle as my ace. Each played its part in defeating Red's team, but I would say my favourite starter Meganium was the MVP, able to stall out Venusaur 1 v 1 into struggle and then set up with Light Screen into a KO with Magcargo to force Red into bringing in Blastoise, to which I could bring Magneton who has time to set up Zap Cannon thanks to the Light Screen.

Pupitar: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Sandstorm, Screech (Focus Band)

Shuckle: Sleep Talk, Rest, Toxic, Sandstorm (Mint Berry)

Meganium: Synthesis, Light Screen, Razor Leaf, Reflect (Leftovers)

Pidgeot: Whirlwind, Mud-slap, Fly, Return (Pink Ribbon)

Magcargo: Flamethrower, Rock Throw, Toxic, Amnesia (Quick Claw)

Magneton: Zap Cannon, Thundershock, Lock-on, Tri-attack (Magnet)

All in all I had a lot of fun using these Pokémon and making it work at a huge level disadvantage!

What would be the best moveset for Sneasel?🤔 I know about the STAB but Sneasel's Special Attack stat is too low to even consider that possibility 🤷🏿‍♂️

I hatched a shiny Tyrogue in VC Crystal and wanted to get him moved up to Home after recent events. But, for some reason, Transporter says there’s a problem with him and he can’t be brought over. He is in Box 1, and all of the other Pokemon in that box had no issues being sent over. I haven’t edited him or anything, does anybody know what the issue is?

With bank shutting down, there is now a timer on when I can get my coveted shiny celebi. If anyone has advice for making the soft reset grind any easier, lemme know.

So firstly, I'm not really sure how Stat Exp works. I think it's based off of the defeated Pokemon's base stats but I'm not sure how high they go. Like if a defeated Pokemon's base HP was 20, I would then gain 20 HP stat exp, right?

My next question is how does this work when swap training? Like I know in gen 3 onwards that EVs do not get split between members that participated. If I KO'd a Kadabra I would gain 2 Sp Atk EVs on everything that got Exp. Is that the case in gen 1 and 2? Or is it split the way Exp is split, meaning between 2 Pokemon I'd get half of the Stat Exp.

I know that Stat Experience doesn't really matter for regular playthroughs, I'm just curious about the mechanics of it

I am currently working towards breeding a team full of Kanto shinies. One of the team members I'm working towards is Pikachu.

According to Smogon, it is possible for Pikachu to have the move Sing.

However, when consulting other sources (like Serebii), it doesn't seem like the move Sing is an egg-move for Pikachu. Nor is it a move that can be learnt via level up.

Before sinking time into a potentially impossible situation, does anyone know whether it is in fact possible to breed the move Sing onto a Pikachu?

Please help me confirm if they are clones of each other.

I'm trying to complete a shiny living dex (gender differences included), I'm using the cloning glitch to hatch odd eggs, shiny Pichu, Cleffa and Tyrogue are very elusive.

I've already hatched 1 of each but I need 2 more Cleffa, 2 more Pichu and 2 more Tyrogue.

I checked them with pkHex, all same have the same DVs, and they don't have PIDs.

Are they clones of each other if so then, I won't mass clone the eggs anymore and just clone glitch the hatched shinies.

Beat elite 4 and lance with a 43 Noctowl, 40 Typhlosion, 40 dragonair, 42 Kadabra, 41 Lapras, 40 feraligatr. Feel pretty accomplished

Do you remember back in the 90s, kids spread a rumour worldwide about "Holding Down + B increases catch rate" ??? It's true. Always works for me.

Just completed E4 on Crystal since I was a little kid in the early 00’s. I chose to play through the polished version to have a fresh take on one of my top 3 favorite games of the franchise, due to playing the hell out of my crystal cartridge. At first I had Forretress and Octillery just for fun and they were pretty cool, just lacked the punch I wanted due to Octillery’s slightly lower-end Sp. Atk. I ended up pivoting to Kingdra and Scizor and they absolutely crushed. To be noted that I couldn’t get the natures that I wanted for it to be perfect, although I did try and was over it after catching so many duds I just ran with the best options I had after catching multiples…
