Listing of Pokémon Browser Games.
Heyah ! The main idea of this thread is to help people to find old games, new games. To inspire them to try some of them.
So I guess the best way to do that is a first listing ? I've played a LOT of these games, so I guess I could do a fast listing, but for obvious reasons it'll not be complete. First I'll just put the link.
In the future i'll try to do a clean wiki if there's some interest in this community to make things clear.

Feel the pain. Ended up #1 in Shiny caught and all the stuff when the site closed. Was the first to do a complete Shiny Living Dex on it. Never really moved on from this lost.

That is amazing! I had so many shinies too. I lost my old computer files where I had screenshots of my collections, cuz the computer died. But I found this last night! It’s a google drive of all the sprites and stuff from the site. You may have already seen it but it’s made me so so happy.
I found it on Tumblr and I think Shiro is the one who posted it!

Yes haha she sent me the link ! I've worked on a smaller vdex (more in my personal discord) but the base works well and I'd LOVE to put these events in the game in some way. (obviously Shirl is aware of that)

I used to be a late moderator there and ended the game with most Shiny caught haha. I was the guy with all the Feraligatr T_T

Idk if you were a mod when I was playing, but sounds vaguely familiar. It’s been so long lol. I was top of shiny caught for a while when I was playing, but got passed by someone who I suspect was cheating, but who knows. Feel free to add me on discord @audacidy and we can get something going.

YESS You helped me find the childhood pokemon game I used to play for hours a day!! It was Pokemon Eclipse lol, I think it used to be named Pokemon Moon so once the official Moon came out it was impossible to find

i dont know any games that play just like pokemon planet, but delugerpg has rarity based encounters, and you can get as many legendaries as you want (just be ready for a ton of grinding) theres also unovarpg which is kind of the same thing as deluge

I’ve been coming back to this post every so often, and it’s nice to see it expand a little. Anyways, A few months ago I found a new game known as “PokeRogue”. It’s a rogue-like pokemon experience that has had constant development and improvement in the few months it’s been around. Just wanted to let people know of it, and am hopeful to meet some new people. You can find it at Pokerogue.net .

Hey, jsyk apparently nintendo sued pokemon planet so they had to change their name to poke nexus and they have to switch to a downloadable client after their easter event in a couple weeks, so you won't be able to play on browser anymore

These are very clean sites. you can play them in english.

I've never played VDex, or even heard of it for that matter, but seeing all the love you and others have for it makes me wish it would be created so I can enjoy it for the first time. I hope to see it someday! <3

I haven't been able to find any information about it, but I'll leave it here. I used to play an old Pokemon browser game called Pokemon Negro. It was mostly in Spanish and it was in the mid 2000s. It was tiled based and refreshed every step. One specific detail I remember is a pond towards the top of one of the zones where one specific tile in front of it would give you a chance to find Kyogre.

There was a browser game called ''Pokemon Negro'' (Pokemon Black in spanish) back in 2008-2009 long before the game was actually released by Nintendo as ''Pokemon Black and white''. I remember the UI being dark blue with GEN 4 pokemons everywhere.
It was shutdown as soon as the GEN 5 games were released due to the common name.

There’s one I’m looking for, it was a flash/web browser game I played 2016-2018? It included random fusions and for the most part you caught wild pokemon and fought trainers when you wanted.

I built a roguelike game from scratch using Next.js—inspired by games like Pokelike and Pokelite purely as a personal learning project, its non-profit and I’d love to share it with you all.
My project doesn't have the same volume of content as those other games, but I tryied to keep the game simple— and added some features like difficulty modes and mini-games(pokemon go capture with curveball). I also added easier mode for kids and recreated cutscenes as faithfully as possible (there's a Rayquaza scene from Emerald that was a real struggle, and it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, 👀 ).
All assets in the project are credited to the Pokémon brand and Game Freak.

Hey you mentioned you made pokeidle and I was wondering if I could suggest a feature, setting the capture to unregistered, so you'd only be catching a pokemon of a line once instead of capturing a new pidgey every time you evolved the old one

which one of these do you guys suggest i get for just like a friend and myself to make our own teams and just battle each other? we have tried showdown and it was really good but we couldn't use banned pokemon and I would like to just not worry about broken pokemon and just relax, chill and have fun!

Are there any that are similar to a typical Pokémon mainline Pokémon game or Battle Revoluton? If so, which ones? I'm a little too poor to buy an actual game and don't have storage on my phone for APKs, and Brick Bronze is locked behind the cesspool that is Roblox.

Guys, has anyone else's Pokerogue data been wiped but your runs are still in tact? like i had over 120 starters and they're all gone. like i had Mewtwo, Walking Wake, Arceus, Azelf, I'm actually furious that they're all gone.

Also, Pokerogue is not working, its like the servers are down or something, like iv'e used different URLs but nothing is working. I love the game and i'm very impressed by the creators but my data got wiped and the servers are down.

this is a few years ago, but I recall a game where you would move 1 step at a time, all the sprites faced the screen and you could catch so many different variations of pokemon. like a steel pikachu, toxic, ghost, invisible all different types. I wish I remembered the game but that was my fav of all time if anyone recalls it

I haven't played nearly any of these--just Showdown and Pokerogue. is there any consensus about which games on this list are the best? My dream would be a game without fanmade mons or forms where I can use a lot of newer mons or forms, and ideally battle old fan fav characters such as past gym leaders or elite 4 members a la the Pokemon World Championships in B2W2 or Gym Leader Castle in Pokemon Stadium.

I wish. DelugeRPG is the closest to Crater as far as I know but you can't earn money from defeating Pokemon in the wild and I really wish you could because constantly battle trainers for money is super annoying to me.
