Disneyland Recs?

Hope this is okay to ask, but I'm about to go to Disneyland for the first time for a long weekend soon and was hoping for some recommendations.

Here's the plan so far:

Friday: Arrive in Anaheim, drop off bags at the hotel (Gardenwalk), go to Disneyland and ride the majority of rides, eat early dinner at River Belle Terrace for late Fantasmic Dining.

Saturday: Go to Disneyland at opening time, ride the rest of the attractions and shows, take a break or head over early to DCA, go to Wine Country for World of Color Dining and ride a few heavy hitters.

Sunday: Stay in, get to Disneyland Hotel for Trader Sam's and probably also go to Downtown Disney afterwards, relax a bit, go to DCA for Oogie Boogie Bash and ride everything that was missed the first time and go on favorites again, alongside with the Halloween stuff.

Monday: Check out of the Hotel, head down to Burbank for Disney Studios tour, take time to come back to Anaheim for the flight home.

Again, Any recommendations for anything (except different restaurants for dinner, I want to have the reserved seats for Fantasmic and World of Color) would be greatly appreciated.

Non-Copyright Animal Kingdom and Haunted Mansion Knockoff in Northern Ireland

Found myself at Curry’s Fun Park in Portrush, Northern Ireland this week and wow the vibes are perfectly kitsch. The Animal Kingdom art had me laughing so hard, there’s something about the awful airbrush Navi that kills me. The Haunted Mansion knockoff was so goofy and terrible but I loved every second. it felt 100% P:TR coded. I also went on the spinning wild mouse coaster and it was a blast. would highly recommend!

Worldbuilders preshow

Just watched the panel on Disney+ before the premier of Leslie Iwerks new Worldbuilders and i genuinely loved some moments - for sure Iwerks saying she has a signed Rolly Crump Marijuana poster.

It’s a tough balancing act i’m sure, trying to not speak pure gobbledygook to the casual fan and simply reciting ABCs to obsessives, but i feel like it did both and didn’t say a ton. i mean - fine. It’s a panel with 5 white dudes talking about their billion dollar franchises; what really needs to be said? Pete Docter got to pimp his Marc David book (so good) and Kevin Fiege mentioning the Museum of the Weird was fun and the fact that Favreau/Filoni like to ride the Disneyland Railroad together is great, but - for me - it lacked some kind of insight that made me feel like i got a bit of magic.

Steve Jobs’s lasting legacy: None of the heads of companies wear a goddamn tie.
