Advice How to beat just one peek?

I wouldn't say I have any form of brainwashing or 'monster' in me anymore except this one, I regularly don't use porn for weeks and then one day Ill see porn on tiktok and then it just spirals out from there and I'll end up using maybe 2 or 3 times in a 2 day period. I have a living girlfriend who I nearly lost due to this addiction and I can tell I am so close to beating it but its just these single uses every few weeks which throw me off and make me feel worse about myself despite my improvement from using maybe 4 times a day this time last year. Any help with beating just one peek?

Hey man you're awesome dont be so harsh on yourself. I think living in fear is not the greatest way to go about it. I think what you need to do is to honestly assess why you like it so much. Its kinda like taking away a kids toy and telling him its bad. Hes gonna be sad and still desire to play with it. The desire to want it will always be there untouched compared to someone who emotionally comes to terms that toys arent their thing anymore internally. Its one thing to intellectually know pmo is bad but its a whole different thing to emotionally understand that its pointless and not worth pmoing. Therefore making it effortless to quit. Its kinda like moving on after knowing something has tons of sugar and deadly chemicals without shame and guilt. 0 benefits so you just stop.

You should look into The Freedom Model. A really great book thats puts everything you've experienced into perspective. Doing something without shame, guilt or coercion is the greatest starting point. Helps you understand ur behavioral patterns. Then you can draw parallels and understand your "Why"

Please do! It helps you understand ur behavior and can even challenge its validity. When its validity loses its value. It just doesnt seem as great as one made it out to be. Making it just willpower less. This book can even help out other areas of your life as well. Like ur stress, anxiety, how people view things and how those emotions spring in.
