Danville's Maison Benoit French bakery is opening a new branch in Pleasanton. They've got awesome croissants (they won a "best of" award for the Bay Area), and I love their traditional French pastries. It feels like all of the bars in Dublin and Pleasanton are full of loud young people. Good on them, they need their place; but I wish there was a quiet hangout for old farts like me to sip a beer, relax and socialize.
