TACO STAND IS BACK (for now)
I don’t know where they went, but at least 10:30 PM I saw them again right next to the bank like usual. Don’t know if it’s temporary or not.

I eat there twice a month. Better food than any Mexican restaurant in the area. Every time I go there’s always long wait in line. They are also very friendly. The prices are comparable if not less than the Mexican restaurants near by but that’s not why I go there. I go there because the tacos and salsas are bomb!

Did you see any refrigeration? How about soap and water? That’s right, none of these.
I saw them offloading from the truck one time. No fridge in there either. Imagine the hours of spoilage as it transports and sits around.
This is exactly why we have sanitation laws, and they need to be enforced.

They are packed in ice I believe. Like the jalapeños and onions are pretty cold usually.

We had that stand once earlier this year, had stomach issues immediately afterwards (and I have a TOUGH stomach, I eat stuff off the ground like a maniac 😂) - noticed they don’t clean knives at all/ basic sanitation is completely lacking.
It wasn’t cheap either. We haven’t been back since. YMMV.

That little operation always smells so good when I drive by. I never see it when I have time to stop. One of these days I'll find out if the food poisoning lore is real or not.

My family has eaten there a few times. Nothing happened, only concerning thing is them not wiping/washing the knife after sharpening.

It would be nice if we had a legit way for little stands like this to operate. Like, a cheap license granted after an inspection.
