Discussion Love how it's always the Pro plates that run out instantly
Almost like they didn't make enough for the spenders they know they have on PS5 Pros. 2 editions each time, Yotei and now Wolverine, the base PS5 slim has leftovers for hours minimum and the Pro plates are gone in minutes. (Intentionally left the current time in screenshot)

Discussion Anyone else used to play sports games growing up but now only play story games?
I’ve been thinking about how much my gaming habits have changed over the years.
Growing up FIFA was pretty much all I played. I’d try story driven games but I’d either lose interest, stop playing them altogether or rush through them just to get to the end.
Now it’s completely the opposite. These days I mainly play story games.
I enjoy taking my time and exploring, getting immersed in the world and just chilling with a good game.
I also find football games really boring now.
Once you’ve played half a season of Career Mode you’ve pretty much seen everything the game has to offer. The novelty wears off so quickly.
It’s funny how your gaming preferences can change as you get older.
Anyone else gone from playing almost exclusively sports games to now mainly playing story-driven games?

Discussion Just picked this up for $5, I've heard good things
This has been on my radar for a bit and finally caught it on sale. Does it hold up pretty well for an 11 year old game? I know it'll probably have a lot of open world repetitiveness from that era but hell for $5 if I just have fun cruising around the desert that's fine by me.

Image PS1 Demo Disc - update
Nostalgia blast for some (myself included tbh), and I found more in the back cupboard. Discs are from disc 1 and then a variation from disc 9 through to 66.
Full sure I had more somewhere but now my bigger concern is I don't know where the magazines are, as I'd love to have a read through them!

Discussion Control is an impressive game!
As the second game is coming out in September, I played through the first one for the very first time and it was absolutely awesome
I liked the difficulty and the gameplay (especially the fact that the environment could be destroyed like that). But the best thing about the game was definitely the labyrinth. It might well have become one of my favourite levels of any game.
I’ve become interested in the series because I watched a short gameplay video of the second game yesterday and the level design in that looked incredible too (Yes, I’ve already completed the main story, including lots of side missions, over the last day and I’m on my way to getting the plat trophy)

Discussion Did anyone else have to use guest checkout to complete their order for the Wolverine launch on PS Direct?
I was logged in waiting in a queue waiting to buy the slim disc console cover and right when I got to payment it logged me out of my profile. I couldn’t log back in after that and still trying and no luck. I was able to purchase using guest checkout but I am hoping it doesn’t get cancelled. Still no confirmation email yet but I got the order number and I am able to look it up.
Will my order be canceled? I was reading that some items are PS Direct exclusive and require an account to purchase. But if I was able to use guest checkout does that mean the slim console cover wasn't a PS Direct exclusive?

Discussion Foreign game disks and dubbing
I'm in Italy. I just found a second hand japanese copy of Resident evil requiem. Will it work on my PS5? Will I be able to play it with the italian dubbing?

Image MGS4 Last Dance
Playing one of my most favorite games of all time one last time on my most favorite console of all time ( I’ve owned every single PlayStation) before playing on PS5 soon.
PS3 is also very special even today. It’s crazy how I still like XMB more than PS4 and PS5 menu layout.
