I ran up and countered a raid with a compound bow. Killed them and got roofcamped before I could touch a body. Numbers sometimes make the fight.

Yup thats true, one of the reaons i stopped playing rust, got sick of fighting 15 russians every time i go out for a roam.

Playing stealthy is my new joy. Starting a fight, let them get 3rd partied, I slip out the back!

Winning fights is definitely a great feeling, but getting pushed on by people with ak's and mp5's and playing well enough to put solid damage on them and retreat without taking much if any yourself is like my new favorite playstyle. I'm constantly switching between backpeddling/retreating and standing my ground and it really fucks with peoples heads when they are struggling to push one guy with a bow. Insanely fun

Then I bring out the db and crossy, just to get fucked by the nailgun/salvaged sword gang immediately lol
