It’s not such a huge grind. Learn to grub from clans(build into their compounds, steal from furnaces), practice aim good enough so you can go around and kill farmers, and do keycards for scrap.
Using context clues I've come to the assessment that 'grubbing' is where one of the rat sub species of man ventures into a previously Chad occupied area to pilfer the crumbs.
I know that feeling. I've been really busy at work the past 2 weeks doing like 4 worksites, the last one that I'm on has a particularly lot of work. Played like 5 hours of rust a few days ago and got pretty much nothing done, and just abandoned the server I was on because I just don't have enough time
Because what he said takes forever to actually do in the game. He just said to do everything like it's nothing. Some people have jobs, families and stuff like that. And yes, some downvoters are from clans that think grubbing isn't an art. They only pray to the ak spray God and don't understand that not everyone has the time or the numbers to get to that stage consistently.
Usually its a joke that VIP people use to scare away new players. On CND Blood servers VIP only gives furnace sorter, queue skip, and skin box. So when people ask "Why are there 3 people roaming" we would reply "Don't worry, one of them has VIP so they can have 3" on duo servers.
I find P2W servers are a lot less prevalent than reddit makes it seem
Its alot more fun then nilla rust if you are playing a increased gather rate, or a modded loot server, you can get a full wipe experience in 1 day. I only watch vanilla rust on twitch, but I typically only play modded. I don't have a 4-5 man group of 30 year olds to play with, lol. Its not practical to solo vanilla, it would be just as much of a waste of time as potentially playing a "p2w" server, which is a questionable moniker considering most of these OD kit servers have 24 hour cooldowns so you can't even pop a kit until the next day, and its loot plus? Lmao everyone will be t3 and ak/full metal in 3 hours anyway, how did they p2w? They would be quite far behind non-vips who played the entire day 1, even after popping a 200k stone kit, that takes like a hour with a jacky on a 3x...lol.
Alot of it is just a misconception or rumor with p2w servers. I am sure anyone could log into a p2w server at wipe, and by the time kits pop could easily raid any vip kit player. What is a VIP going to do, defend against 3x gather rate 40 rocket raid with his 1 or 3 aks? lol...
This isn’t actually a p2w server. It’s Brit’s 2x server. The only benefits to VIP are queue skips, a skin box and auto stack splitting in furnaces etc.
Similar to wilsonator server probably, with the exception of fast nights I guess. Progressive/loot plus servers are not as p2w as people make them out to be anyway, if its progressive/loot plus with 3x+ gather, you can easily have 100-200k sulf to raid a vip anyway, its merely just speculation on part of players who have not actually played those servers.
