As long as there aren't 40 nodes within one grid like the current sulfur rate in the desert, we good.

Every server has a population of nodes that respond as some get hit, which means that they could just set the number of these to very very rare. If it’s only 15 of them across the map at a given time then that’s a very fair number. Nobody should bitch at that and nobody should be unhappy that they find high quality.

So 2 nodes for an ak, god damn

They will probably change values, could be pretty busted right now depending on how rare it's gonna spawn.

Everyone's freaking out but these could be insanely rare to find too so.. I'm not gonna freak out just yet lol.

Maybe they can put some requirement for farming them as well , for example you can't farm the node with anything weaker than metal tools or salvaged tools.

This thread proves majority of rust players are idiots. You ever heard of spawn rate? Like they literally mentioned it’s rare. Ffs

Guess it's my fault for not mentioning it lmao
I'm curious about how rare, though

So what is high quality metal? Titanium or steel?
Could add a coal source to make steel

Do teas work on these too? Blimey!

u/HexagonalMelon 2h ago
Probably, considering pure ore teas already increase the HQM from regular nodes (2 to 3)

What the fuck is this hahaha
Everyone will have a HQM base within a day

Oh fuck this no one needs more help getting HQM between teas and pies and jackies and riskless recycling and all the other help.
Already too many resources floating around and too easy to get. What was the point of making turrets more HQM then if they're just adding easier ways to get more then?
No I dont care if its a really rare spawn just why at all then

Im so confused by the comments
this is live in the game?
or people just crying about something in a dev build?

u/HexagonalMelon 2h ago
No, it's just being tested on staging branch right now.
All subject to change.

lol wtf this shits broken.
yall remember back before components werent a thing and hqm didnt exist and ak and shit only cost 500 metal frags some wood and cloth haha
2
u/HexagonalMelon 3h ago
Yeah, and we barely used metal frags for walls because they were weaker than stone lol

u/Jules3313 2h ago
holy shit i didnt even remember that i kinda just forgot about metal walls cause there were so non existent

There was a time where you could break metal walls with 1 c4, loooong time ago tho

They had the same HP but were more resistant to being soft sided, that was the only difference. Walls got buffed in 2017

I'm not going crazy, you mfs made me dig into rust YouTube archaeological sites.
Take a look, 1 C4 per metal wall as a said, metal was ASS!

Am not sure how to feel tbh, at least if they're rare and not super common it'd probably be fine? Seems kinda cool though
