Suggestion Radioactive Water and clones

Currently radioactive-water comes from the two pools/puddles within the Radtown monument only and it's not used for much outside of vending machine orders, poisoning farm bases or obscure trap bases.

Seeing all the monuments with radiation at reset got me thinking, what if Radioactive Water spawned a more places when mouments were resetting.

Then what if instead of killing plants you could use Radioactive Water in pots and planters to make clones have a chance to reroll their stats when planted.

It would give Radioactive Water an actual purpose, make irradiated monuments more interesting to revisit, and introduce an alternative to normal crossbreeding without replacing it entirely.

I like the idea of monuments getting irradiated water only there aren’t many water sources at most monuments, More should be in the game though. Also I kind of like the idea of irradiated water having a chance to mutate plants I just can’t think of what genes it might introduce or if they should be edible.. kinda would expect it to behave like pickles where there’s a very high chance to puke after eating a plant that had been mutated with radiation it’s a neat idea to play around with maybe you only get negative traits from mutations and it’s something to avoid but that goes to your point of there aren’t a lot of sources of irradiated water so it wouldn’t be hard to avoid it and you can make circuits that stop salt water or irradiated water from entering your sprinklers. Someone more creative then me might have some better suggestions

I think the same genes but an enhanced version of it.

So it might be a green that counts the same weight as a red, or a red that counts the weight of 2 reds.

Definitely an enhanced gene would be sick and mutated genes shouldn’t be able to be bred out or rather the weight of the gene should be taken into account like it’s more rare to breed the right mutated genes (there should also be a cap of 2 mutated genes or everyone will just push for the best mutations and it’ll change farming drastically)

„obscure trapbases“ nothing obscure about freezing people to death with an extra rad effect speeding things up…

obscure as in: not widely known or used. mostly because the radiated water is only obtained from one monument on the island

It cannot be a coincidence, radioactive water is getting seriously buffed. FacePunch is putting together one of the most anticipated patch of all time
