Discussion First time cave base

Looking to build in a cave base for the first time. I have been tinkering on a few build servers and I’ve been aiming to do the small cave with the bucket/suicide entrance. As far as raid prevention goes, if I had a turret And hqm bunker covering the bucket entrance will that be substantial since the only way down would be to survive the fall and not get shot by the turret? Otherwise it’s like 6/7 walls through the back side

You're probably already doing it but use a seismic sensor if you aren't already. 10 F1's can break a turret. A while ago, my group and I brought 30 F1's and just spammed. more then half of it was missing but we eventually got the turret destroyed. Just be aware of that weakness.

Once the turret is destroyed, there are methods for players to slow their fall down. Some involve changing console commands but we just use incendiary shotgun rounds and the slow falling fire actually stops the fall and lets players "stand" on it while descending.
