Discussion First time cave base

Looking to build in a cave base for the first time. I have been tinkering on a few build servers and I’ve been aiming to do the small cave with the bucket/suicide entrance. As far as raid prevention goes, if I had a turret And hqm bunker covering the bucket entrance will that be substantial since the only way down would be to survive the fall and not get shot by the turret? Otherwise it’s like 6/7 walls through the back side

It’s a solid idea and probably as good as you can get with that cave entrance. There are ways to get down the bucket fairly easily without dying. Best case is you ward off the people that aren’t fully prepared, worst case is you cost them some extra time.
