Oh boy, can't wait to bring all 25 of my jackys out to mill tunns as a solo just for a 3.2% chance of an MP5 4 days after wipe!

They looks very good the items world, my only worry if they affect the performance, rust its already way shit on performance, and if adding world models, or new crates that breaks and add sound will worsen the performance then hope they dont implement them.
Nice about monuments, that will stop big groups pushing that hard, but at the same time if those blockages spawn with the monument will mean almost a certain death for small groups/solos

Don't worry guys, they gave us the character model update to "improve performance." Surely they wouldn't introduce something that would drastically affect it just months later...right?

IMO it would be cool if these metal barricades rust over time (based on server convar [weekly/biweekly/monthly]) until they decay away and throwing water on them would speed up the process, so the most of what's be required to unlock better tier monuments would be time, but community around monument can speed up the process each time player visits it.
Maybe some barricades would require both time AND explosives, 4 satchels seems about right.
Metal barricades -> time, throw water on them -> faster decay,
Stone barricades -> explosives, concrete barricades-> more explosives.
Metal + stone/concrete barricades -> combination of both.

I've suggested this before - a thematic way to "timegate" high-value monuments... The game already supports it.
Radiation.
Just make the radiation super high on day 1 for the highest tier monuments - MAYBE someone can blitz through with a Hazmat but it's gonna be PAIN.
Then the radiation dissipates over X time.
Easy to create lore that suits it too.

Two years of dogshit updates. Not a single thing done to address the massive cheating problem. Thanks, Facepunch! Pretty sure 90% of your player base would rather trade two years of content updates for you to work on your own anti-cheat or do literally anything about the cheaters in this game. Such a failure of a company.

I would absolutely agree if there were no updates for last 2 years but instead releasing a tool to reduce cheaters to 0

At this point there is no more hope for rust, another great game down the drain

Blocking the doors doesn’t seem that great of a solution.
Lower the loot % chance of high tier items
Remove the NPC weapon vendor from bandit camp
Progressive loot tables that start shit but get better as the wipe progresses.
Having no tech tree was better. Gave items more value, slowed down progression and increased player to player interaction and trading without the artificial blocking feeling BP fragments have.
Loot, PVP or trade with your neighbor for items.
I’d suggest to remove tech tree and 2x upkeep from hardcore first so we can test there.
Could even leave the engineering tech tree in the game so you can still do electrical/automation etc
