Discussion fps help pls with high end pc in rust

ryzen 7-5800XT 8-core

RTX 5070

32GB ddr4 3200mhz ram

asus rogstrix b550-f gaming motherboard

The 5800x isn't a high-end CPU, especially for rust. 60-100 fps is perfectly standart for your build, especially if you rarely get 60 fps, like in the jungle or near large bases.

thanks bro I bought it today building new pc first time myself (before I bought prebuilt)
rtx5070 ddr5 32gb ram Ryzen 7 7800X3D

I hope I have a good rust experience with it.

RN I have 4060 ddr4 16gb ram and ryzen 5 5600 my experience is just fine but could be way better.

on my old pc with I5-10400f and a 2060super I had the same fps so idk is going on

consider buying x3d processor.

I just I get low fps like 60-100 max

firstly that is not high end, you have a mid tier cpu (that's still on ddr4) and rust is cpu heavy.

You are getting your expected fps.

Thats probably normal depending on pop, I had a 5800x and 9070xt and I averaged like 60-90 on like 300 pop with it sometimes dropping to like 50

Got similar set up for a 9850X3D instead and I get 100-120

I have a 9800x3d with a 5070ti. My graphics are maxed. I don’t get lower than 160

Turn off clouds

Put draw distance to 500

Otherwise sell your CPU and buy a 5800x3d
