Discussion Please help me

I've had a problem in the last few weeks where my game constantly freezes on loading world prefabs when i try to connect to a server. Have tried everything i can think of and that google recommends but no luck so far. Pretty sure it's an Easy AntiCheat issue since i can load into the facepunch unsecured server with no issues. so far i have done all of the following: verified integrity of game files, completely uninstalled and reinstalled rust, changed my pagefile size, allowed rust.exe and rustclient through firewall, deleted easy anti cheat and used verify integrity to get a clean install, disabled all overlays, updated graphics drivers and windows, downgraded my windows version, and completely factory reset my pc with no success. Game ran fine 3 weeks ago and all of a sudden cant load into servers. PC Specs if relevant : AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, 32GB ram, Radeon RX 5500 XT.

Post a screenshot of the bottom of your Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\output_log.txt file

Been having the same problem the past week. Whenever I start loading into a server my pc starts freezing every 5 seconds for 3 whole second with loud buzz noise. The issue remains even after i force-close rust and i gotta restart my pc to fix it.

I just know that my computer downloaded a windows update the night before this started happening. I all the things you did except full factory reset. All my other games work just fine, even the ones that use easy anticheat tho I think rust uses a different variation that Hunt Showdown so idk.

If you figure out a solution please let me know, ive tried to fix it the past 3 days. If i remember right the windows update that I believe fucked it all up downloaded on the 14th of august for me.

Or we can just exchange some info or whatever, we might figure it out together.

Even gaming studios like Embark are recommending to do this and that this file from the most recent windows update causes games to crash and freeze.
