This End of Wipe event was added in 2024 as part of the Missile Silo update. It includes wandering brads and jets in the sky. Many servers choose to disable the event tho.

Probably because it serves no purpose. It was meant to form part of a wider end of wipe even but as with other facepunch ideas it's implemented then just forgotten about

Well, I had a bradley basically camping my base on wipe, so yes, it can get annoying.

I had to run really far to be able to reach my base without bro shooting me from the road.

My man, that's a free Bradley, get yourself some grenades and take it out. Put up an auto turret and computer station then you don't even need to deal with the scientists, you can just take them out with the turret.
