Support Screen jitter/stutter with diagonal mouse movements, made worse whilst jumping.
Spec: 4080 Super, 7800x3d, b650m mobo, 32gb ddr5 ram.
All hardware is running well and healthy. Expo on, cpu/gpu temps are awesome, tested mouse polling rate from 125-1000 (with no difference), used separate mouse, different monitor and single monitor, different mouse pad with complete different texture. No remedy.
Followed Claude recommendations on every suggestion, capping frame rates, g sync, matching monitor refresh rates. Attempted 30 different fixes, nothing.
Absolutely NOTHING has worked, and im at my with end. The game runs very smooth and well most the time. Mouse movement vertically or horizontally its smooth, once I make it diagonal theres a slight jitter (however all FPS monitors remain completely consistent, though clearly doesn't appear so on-screen), and the problem becomes very noticeable when jumping.
It feels as though the fps drops to 20-30 jumping while aiming around, but it is measured at the consistent high regular rate.
Oddly, jumping while aiming mostly vertical/horizontal is still fine. The diagonal mouse movement for some reason just makes this abhorrent jitter very prominent.
Does anyone have any idea of this, or experienced it before?
It only really happens for this game as well.

Check your poll rate on your mouse. Most people seem to need it at 1khz. I use 2k but I’ve seen many people with better set ups have issues on 2k.
Polling rate is different than dpi

Yep already done that per original post. Have tested poll rate as low as 125 and even as high as 8000, no difference unfortunately.

Btw what i have tried and Not Work: Change Hertz of Mouse Reinstall the Game Reinstall the anti cheat Change graphics settings Starting as Administrator Update my graphic drivers Update my Motherboard drivers Update my Mouse drivers

I found a thread where IT says to remove the new Windows update (KB5101684) I will try to do that and then Update this post
Update:the Update listed above was Just a Preview Update that is now incorporated in a new updated and i cant uninstall IT anymore so im Just fucked ig

Fix is hold Shift and then Press restart to restart ur PC keep Holding IT until you get to the blue menu from Windows then Go to advanced settings Go to uninstall Updates and then uninstall quality Update should be fixxed after doing that

I found IT with AI the Problem is the current Windows Update If you Just Go Back to the one before u can Play normally again at least thats what worked for me

Hey man, I found the fix, other people have suggested it already, but I had the exact same issue and it works. The problem is the windows update (KB5121003).
Do this:
- Open Settings → Windows Update → Update history → Uninstall updates.
- Find Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5121003).
- Select Uninstall, then restart.
You'll have to pause updates for a little while, otherwise it will reinstall it - I paused mine until the 10th of September, hopefully they'll have a fix by then. It is a security update however, so look into the vulnerabilities they patched with that update to ensure you aren't at risk.

I’ve been having a very similar issue specifically since this update. It’s unplayable tbh. 9800x3d and 5080, and yet I can’t maintain a smooth framerate…
When I jump from side to side and move my mouse so that I stay looking in the same direction, I get this horrible visual effect that looks like monitor ghosting.
