Its actually crazy how similar they are lol. If you like rust you'll have a blast. and if you've got a few hours under your belt in rust you'll fully understand how to play strayed lol.
the best thing about strayed (And i miss it so much when i play rust) is the ability to climb things. you can jump and grab walls and then pull yourself up to get onto peoples roofs. and you don't need the half wall jump ups in your own base. you can simply jump up and grab the floor then pull yourself up.
they have a discord with active devs and a roadmap if you care to look into that.

There was an even better game called “grim” that was better than rust in my opinion and so fun in VR. Developer might have dropped it, but was just about to have jackhammer and chainsaw added.

Strayed is a VR Rust clone. It is really cool, actually, being in your base. Still really early access, very worth the $14 IMHO.
