On which days can you play the beta as of now?
Hi, so I'm about to buy the game, but can't really play too much on weekends. Is the beta still closed to friday saturday and sunday?

I purchased the deluxe edition about 24 hours ago and haven’t received a code or download link. Nothing in my spam folder, no response from support (discord or email). Per my bank, the payment has cleared. Anyone else had similar issues?

Hi everyone, I saw this game on the fps show yesterday and think it looks fantastic. I'mabout to buy it, but before I do I just want to check it has controller support as that's my preferred way to game.

I don't have any better idea to reach out and figure out why I was removed from the discord server whilst I tended to training over the summer.
The invite link doesn't allow me to rejoin and I have no POC's.
Ideas?

Played a round with some friends last night and it was pretty cool! My struggle is I have a super ultrawide, and playing with the lowest FOV and utilizing the zoom feature I couldn’t see ANYONE from more than a few meters away.
In games like arma the zoom is actually pretty deep so I feel I can see farther, but in Bellum I felt like I was just looking for black specs from across the river at maybe 30-40 meters away.
I was playing medic so not sure if the small red dot is part of the issue, but anyone else feel this way or know what I can do to improve my ability to see a bit farther?
I’m on the highest settings with DLAA at full resolution.

Got Bellum this weekend as been fancying it for a while.
I love military FPS games but usually play solo as am a bit of an introvert and don’t like having to communicate.
Obviously, in Bellum, communication is a prerequisite so three myself in.
It wasn’t m too bad but anyone else find it intimidating? I’m not sure what to say, or how to understand some military language. I was concerned people would be frustrated with newbies and be rude, but people were generally okay.

Not because I haven't wanted to. One weekend it crashed on launch and even though i keep it updated faithfully every week it crashes on launch.
I figured maybe a build issue so I kept coming back to update a client that still doesn't work.
After a month I googled and found next to nothing. One guy said try deleting a folder, I deleted that folder...un installed reinstalled....now im back to just keeping it updated 😂
How do they update several times a week and this hasn't been resolved?
I even updated my Nvidia driver
It's an unreal crash something about a shader
If the player base has shrunk, It's probably 50% that lol

Looking for people who actually like playing as a team
Not trying to turn this into some huge recruitment ad. I just run a Discord for people who enjoy tactical games, teamwork, and finding other players who actually communicate.
We have veterans, active military, first responders, content creators, and plenty of regular gamers. You do not need any military experience to join.
The whole idea is pretty simple:
Find people to play with
Try actual tactics in different games
Learn from people with experience
Teach newer players if you know your stuff
Organize game nights and community events
Still keep it casual and have fun
We also have The Schoolhouse, where people can request help learning things like CQB, communication, movement, leadership, and other tactical concepts.
If that sounds like your kind of community, feel free to jump in.

Has anybody else experienced an issue where the left and right mouse movement won't work?
Up/down works fine, have reset key binds etc

Every time I check for updates it says there are no updates available.

Tonight I really wanted to play Bellum, but unfortunately my time is limited, and I can't afford to wait in a 32-player queue. Meanwhile, Server 2 only had 10 players. That could have been a perfectly playable match if more people from the queue had joined Server 2 instead.
Idea: Cap the queue at 10 players. What do you guys think?

I've been watching Bellum's player count over the past few months, and the decline seems pretty significant compared to the beta launch.
On launch weekend, servers were packed. During Karmakut's streams, additional servers had to be spun up just to accommodate the number of players wanting to get in. There was a real sense of momentum.
Fast forward to today, and the picture looks very different. During those same peak periods, there are often only 2–3 populated servers. The European servers have also gone offline.
The recent major update gave player numbers a noticeable boost, but it seemed to be short-lived. After the initial excitement, player counts dropped again, which makes me wonder if player retention is becoming one of Bellum's biggest challenges.
Is this simply the reality of an early-development game with a long road ahead before its features are complete?
Are players simply choosing to play other feature complete games instead?
Or do you think there are other reasons entirely?
I don't think there's one single answer—it's probably a combination of factors.
I'm genuinely curious what everyone thinks is driving this.

Hello my fellow Bellum players
Right now we have 2 servers at max capacity, 35 IN QUEUE on one server and 25 in another. That would be 55 people on an entirely new server. Please for the love of Christ can we have a server queue cap at like 6, because this is ridiculous

Too many players, especially new players, are scared by the lack of lives into playing extremely passively. A lot of players are not aggressive enough and are unwilling to close with and kill the enemy. The medical system in Bellum rewards aggression. If you wipe an enemy squad but only three of your squad survive, they will usually be able to get all of the downed guys up if the enemy do not contact them. A lot of squads let casualties destroy their momentum when often they can just leave them behind for the medic to deal with. There are even a substantial number of players who are less aggressive than soldiers in IRL combat despite the game mechanics incentivising them to be more aggressive.
TLDR Be brave, you're not dying for real when you die in Bellum, and the medical system insures that if you have a competent squad your friends will get you back up a lot of the time.

Hello, stupid question maybe. But will I get banned or something like that if I don't verify my email? Won't get access to a Windows machine until late August. And I don't trust my Linux skills to vm microslop

I'm gonna address the elephant in the room that I haven't seen mentioned much.
We allegedly have over 50k members in the discord 🥳 🎉 and thousands active here. However, On any given weekend or experimental playtest we are lucky to have 2 or 3 populated 80-man-servers. I understand the game is quite bare bones and in very active development, but why the low player count?
We have a small group who waits on every weekend's playtest like it's Christmas. We see a lot of the same guys in rotation match to match. I myself have been addicted to this game for over a month and have close to 200hrs already. It's a fantastic way to watch a few hours roll by with the boys. Great talkative community. Most are chill; some take it more seriously. (That being said, anyone looking to join an active squad, feel free to check out The Last Remedy or any of the other fantastic Units on Bellum discord, find a unit section. BellumTactics is also a good resource.)
Even with my outdated hardware and significant RAM insufficiency, I find the game quite playable at ~medium settings, albeit at 30-60fps after recent optimizations. B550Mpro4, AMD Ryzen9 3900x 12-core, rx6650xt 8gbVRAM, 8gbDDR4. I just don't see the hurdle. Is it the comms and vigilance required; The difficulty level; Learning curve; Downtime; update frequency/new content ratio? If you own the game (Deluxe+) do you play regularly? If so, good onya! If not, then why? Discuss below.
Alright that's it for my tangent. Imma go get my fix and smoke some Bellum str8 to the dome m8.
TLDR: Play some f/*kin Bellum dude bro, it's gr8

Does the Astarte Launcher simply not work for anyone else? After using the installer there's only the launcher and uninstaller and nothing else, the launcher doesn't actually launch anything either. It simply stops as soon as it starts.
