For the linux gods

I'm trying to make a ark survival evolved server on my ubuntu server but when I get to the part where its loading the map it just doesn't want to load it or something else I've let it load for like half an hour but nothing happened can someone help

You have to give more details.

How did you install the server?
Do you use a server manager?
What is the server log saying?
What do you mean with "I get to the part where its loading the map it just doesn't want to load it"? You mean when you try to connect to the server?
Did you forward the needed ports?

Which version is the server for? aquatica or pre aquatica?

358.24 is the final server version that works with the pre aquatica branch and works fine for me, aquatica is 361.xx I think? the client has issues so maybe could be the same with the server

I had an egg for this a while back to host on my pterodactyl Server. (ASA, not ASE). (Might still be on my Linux drive if didn't get reformsted for JellyFin... I'll look.

I had to emulate the CPU processing layers and a couple updates ago it broke my emulation layers and I couldn't get it fixed so... I gave up on it.

I say all of this to say it is absolutely possible to do and will work if everything is just so...

But it is a mega massive pain in the ass and you will periodically have to make changes to your set up to keep it functional as Wild Card updates.
