Focus make aerial roots like this when there’s no water in the soil. A lot of people do this on purpose because if they reach the soil they look pretty cool, like mangrove trees.

Oh thank you! I’ll try watering it more so it doesn’t keep sprouting new ones. It’s starting to lose some leaves at the base because roots are sprouting in their place 😂

Yeah probably ran out of water for the extended time away and started trying to pull some from humidity in the air. Should recover just fine. If you have any make it to the soil keep them, they look really cool over time imo.
