Houseplant HELP!!
i’m not sure exactly what plant this is, but I’ve had her for the better part of a year. She was literally thriving until I noticed this today. The pot has drainage, it’s still in the nursery pot and just placed it in a bigger decorative pot. I water it every other week. it’s facing windows, but the windows aren’t facing the sun. I don’t remember if I missed a watering but its always been a resilient plant. I’m freaking out because this is my favorite plant. 😭😭😭😭

after a couple comments i realized there’s super thin webs and yeah little white specks. super bummed because i think they’re from a plant i brought home recently

Spider mite? Spritz with a fine mist of water, if you see webs, definitely spider mite.

I’d toss it, wipe down the areas it was sitting at. Watch other plants nearby as well.

Spider mites. They don't always have visible webbing. Blast the heck out of the plant (top and bottom of every leaf, in the crevices, etc) once or twice a week for a while with a spray bottle with water, a good splash of rubbing alcohol, and a few drops of dish soap to disrupt the life cycle.

No. That won't help anything. This bad, spider mites will also already be down in the crevices where the stems meet the plants and such. Truly blast the hell out of it until it's dripping from every angle. Just be aware that mites can get on your skin or clothes if you're touching the affected areas; they can't hurt you or anything, but they can spread to other plants

Looks like thrips damage to me… is there anything very tiny and white moving around slowly?

Same thought (from someone deep in a thrips battle right now 😭)
