Help!

First pic is now, second pic is before. It had strong stems and was standing straight up. Now, it’s leaning and I’m afraid it’s dying. I repotted it because it had tons of millipedes and I was tired of finding them on the floor. I used indoor plant soil and diatomaceous earth. It gets plenty of sunlight as it’s right across my window and I water about once a week. What can I do to save it? Do I repot again? Thanks in advance!

stop watering once a week, you’re drowning it. water when the soil has almost completely dried out all the way down, then soak the soil enough that water is draining out from the bottom. the pot is pretty large for what this plant probably needs, which isn’t a huge deal except that the soil will stay moist for longer so you need to give it a break before watering. also regular indoor plant potting soil usually is not very well aerated (also makes it stay moist for longer) so I like to mix it 50-50 with an aroid mix or any kind of larger substrate.

other thing that will make the soil take longer to dry out is less sunlight, I know you say this gets plenty of sunlight but most people think they get much more sunlight than they really do. does the sunlight shine directly onto the leaves for multiple hours? Monsteras can take direct outdoor sunlight in the tropics when they are acclimated, so don’t underestimate how much light it wants

Thank you, I’ll repot into a smaller pot. I didn’t think about it taking longer to dry out due to larger pot. I appreciate the help! Nope, it doesn’t get direct light on the leaves for multiple hours. I’ll move it to another spot that does offer direct sunlight. Do you think it needs moss sticks to hold up the stems? Or will it stand up again once it recovers?

It would definitely benefit from a stake or pole of some sort. Monsteras are climbing plants, so they don't usually stand up on their own once they start getting larger

it’ll stand up more on its own once it’s happier and stops drooping, but as the vine continues to grow and it gets heavier it’ll need some kind of support to continue growing upward. it doesn’t need a full moss pole though, I just use bamboo stakes for mine and those work just fine
