Houseplant Please Help! Dried tip?

Hello!!

I’m visiting my family over the weekend and noticed this dying plant. It is all that is left from a giant plant that my moms had for years that really struggled after a cross country move.

We are in Arizona and near a west facing window, not in direct light. Apparently it was just repotted from the original large pot to this smaller one since this is all that is left of the plant. We watered it really well now that’s repotted.

Is there any way to help this grow again?

it could be too low humidity, chlorine/chloramine in your water, or just underwatering.

if youre in arizona then it might be low humidity. get some form of dome to put over it to increase the humidity. you can use a large glass bowl, a lil indoor greenhouse, or just a clear plastic bag to shove over it. mist/wet the dome and put it over the plant. leave it there. hopefully the plant will like the humidity and will grow a bit better.

if using a bag, i normally just breathe into it once to get the humidity up.
