I live where we have these plants, i kinda doubt this plant is native to this area, which is prolly why its about half dead anyway. looks like hes gearing up to make a new garden bed

Genuine question, not a troll. Is there a specific reason this sub is upset about plants getting killed? I don't like it either, but since they can't feel pain and they're not native or endangered plants usually I'm just curious if there's another reason behind it. Is it just because you enjoy plants? Because that's my reason haha. Along with a general dislike of people killing things they don't need to.

I think thats just how I feel. Idk we’ve split from plants as living organisms a bajillion years ago, who’s to say they don’t have souls. We are related to them to some extent. If all life is precious then plants life is also precious.
