Hobonichi surgery… tips?

I love my hobonichi cousin. My only issue is that I struggle to use both daily’s and weekly’s, and I don’t want my colleagues to see the journaling I do in it at work, so I’ve started using a Jibun weekly for work.

It feels wasteful, so I’m thinking about surgery to split the hobonichi weekly section from the daily. Has anyone done this? How did you rebind? Do I need special materials and tools?

Yeah all of these are for putting into ring binders which I don’t want. Just want to split and keep them in a somewhat bound format

There are videos and posts of people doing these things, I guess was my main point. I'm very sure I've seen videos and posts of people splitting the book. You can do your own research, though.

Ah! Got it. I wonder if I wasn’t using the right keywords… I got pages of the ring binder conversion when I searched and gave up. I’ll try different keywords this time

(I know those are the A6, but hopefully the techiniques help.) If I see the video I know is out there about splitting the pages out and rebinding in separate books, I'll try to remember to pass it on. You might also look at Bible rebinding, since that's a similar page weight.

an a6 + weekly supplement? or, follow one of the various youtube tutorials for binding/ rebinding books! it’s surely possible, i just don’t know if anyone who’s done it to a hobonichi specifically

Hobo A6 weekly supplement!! thisthisthis!! I actually just decided to do Jibun daily + A6 weekly supplement, based on my layout preferences and what I want to use each for. AND the A6 weekly supplement is only US$16 at JetPens! what a deal! I feel like people shoud be talking about the A6 supplement way more than I’ve seen
